I cry when I listen to them. I know why I do so. During those days, few people could afford to buy their records, something that could have made them rich. It's possible that some of them died poor. RU-vid! Ndibamba ngazo zozibini for the addition of this jewel. I thank you very much.

I cry when I listen to the Dark City Sisters. I know very well why I do so. During those days, very few people could buy their records, something that could have made them rich. In my bloc (about ten houses) in the location, only one house had a gramophone. RU-vid! Ndibamba ngazo zozibini for what you have done. I value greatly this musical addition. Thank you very much.

One of the earliest recorded African music. They made quite an impression, bringing out the raw talent of African music, its beauty, potency and unique blend of voices and instruments that may have kept Adam and Eve from mischief in Eden!

I don't think l will ever get tired of this song, i vividly remember this song when my elder brother bought the cassette in late 1980s . I cry anytime l listen to it. Though i don't understand any word there but it informs of apartheid policy in South Africa. It was a liberation song to my thinking anyway. Nelson Mandela rest in peace. Dark city sisters you will ever be blessed and remembered for ever
