He became a Brock Lesnar fan after his NCAA win and became his manager to look out after him after road agents were giving bad advice or ideas (Brock Lesnar should be a Russian or no sell everything). McMahon hated "The Next Big Thing" moniker at first. Lesnar is great at handling tasks because he grew up on a farm in Webster, South Dakota. It was Lesnar's idea to beat up Spike Dudley and Sho Funaki. He got in a motorcycle accident. I was there live for possibly Lesnar's worst and best matches. I was at Wrestlemania 20 when he and Goldberg stunk out the joint, but with how hostile the crowd was from the start, they didn't stand a chance of winning it over. Thankfully, I was there 11 years later at the 2015 Royal Rumble where he put on a classic with John Cena and Seth Rollins, truly looking like the final boss of WWE when he was an absolute monster in victory. Unfortunately, everyone forgot how damn good that match was because of how shitty that Rumble turned out to be.

I first saw Brock live just a couple months before his tv debut at a local house show. He wrestled Mr Perfect. When Brock first came out I said "Gawdamn" He was huge, threw Perfect around like a rag doll (credit to Perfect for his always awesome selling). I knew this guy was gonna be someone!!

Brock Lesnar made a huge impact on shaping my early teenager mentality back during his first run in 2002. It instilled in me the importance of toughness and physical fitness that still lasts til this day. I believe that one of the main reasons I’m still in great shape in my thirties is because of his example.

I remember seeing Brock Lesnar on TV at 10 years old back in '02. I became such a huge fan and always loved every match. The most infamous match than WM XIX with Angle, was the match at WM30 when lesnar broke the streak. That was absolutely shocking but a massive accomplishment to remember for the ages. Two royal rumble wins 19 years apart. What a guy Lesnar is 🤙🏼

WOW, Kurt was taking 55 Vicodin a day. I had a problem with painkillers for a few years. Was doing about 60-90 mgs of Blue Roxy's. The withdrawals were insane. If Kurt was taking 55 Vicodin a day, and say they're 10mgs, then that's 550 mgs a day, plus all the aspirin in each pill. Don't even want to imagine how bad those withdrawals were 😱

0:34 Brock did not beat Rock at Madison Square Garden for the belt. He beat him at the Nassau Coliseum in New York. The signature set up for WWE ppvs at MSG is that they always have the mini titantron that doubles as a entrance door on the floor of the arena directly opposite of camera side. Nassau has the traditional ramp and entrance set up like most arenas.

I went to an event in Chicago (can't remember if it was Raw or Smackdown) but prior to the main show, they shot some HEAT matches. Prior to that, they had an untelevised match. The crowd was filling in while Brock walked out for that match. I took 1 look at this monster & his tattoos & I told my gf, "That guy is going to be a star." Almost 20 years later & I can officially say that I was correct.

When he came back to the WWE in 2012(I think it was 2012), i thought he was just an entitled ass. But he has proven that he knows how to conduct business in a way that benefits him the most, and i cant blame him for that. He truly is an unique guy, even among other unique guys, he stands out. Im still dying to see a true behind the scenes documentary from the 80s that goes everywhere from the hotels, restaurants, locker rooms but i know now that would've NEVER happened based on what we do know. Clearly McMahon is a psychopath who would condone all that behavior but you can't do that with the dumb wrestlers because they don't have their victims sign dnd agreements and of course it would hurt the business. So a lot of people Rip on Ultimate Warrior, And SID . Well this verifies what they were saying years ago. And as Lesnar is saying and doing today. Warrior stated his first run or so buying a home . And coming back 285 days later or so and almost forgetting about buying it. Due to the travel being on the road. Sid and Warrior had made there money. I heard another star saying jumping around in a ring at 35-37 years old in underwear is crazy. Good for Brock, SID, and Warrior . We all know the Business will kill you!

Brock has been able to maintain being an attraction for so long in large part because he's not overexposed. You have to pay to see the man wrestle. In a day and age where so much is given away on Monday or Friday for free he stays fresh by being one of the few guys who doesn't give it away for nothing. You can have your fighting champion... I'd rather have a guy be a big deal when he performs. Not something I can see most Monday's or Friday's

Brock brought me back into the love of pro wrestling in 2002. I remember I stopped watching wrestling for 2 years, cuz I was a kid and ppl made fun me for it liking wrestling. But Brock was such a real spectacle in that ring, I felt like I was really watching a 298 pound Viking throwing ppl around and destroying them on wrestling canvas.

You kinda skimmed over him becoming UFC HW champ. That was his saving grace, had he gone in and been a CM Punk I don't think anything he did in the wwe after that would have been as meaningful. I lost all respect for CM Punk as a wrestler after he was exposed in the UFC as not a real tough guy, but Brock was a destroyer and made his name much larger than it had ever been, that's what took him from star to superstar.
