WOO!!! Our first movie night! 🍿📺 ... Is The Dark Knight anyone else's favorite film like Ramon? Any thoughts on the film's length? Regardless, I think we can ALL agree that Heath Ledger DID THAT!!! Truly RIP to such a talented soul! 🕊💛 -- Let us know some of your favorite films and if you'd like to see us react to them!
"Can you just kill him now" i dont think u guys were paying attention to the movie That's literally what Joker wants and would make him win and prove his point
The best superhero movie ever! Acting, dialogue, story, casting, music, directing, cinematography and HEATH! Heath Ledger’s performance was outstanding! RIP legend! In this movie everything is perfect! Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan combination is LIT!!
Note on the intro, just because youre an actor. Doesn't mean you have to read from a script. Or at least make it seem less formal. Most of us clicking on the video know what the movie is. We come for your personality.
Nice. Fun fact: Christopher Nolan studied Michael Mann's 1995 epic crime drama "HEAT" and used its structure as a template for this film. You'll notice that the climax of both films occurred 2/3 of the way through, then deliberately loses momentum until the end. Nolan thought that Mann's approach was high risk, yet genius. Heat is one of my favorite films of all time & Mann is my favorite director period.
Some real facts from the movie - heath ledger wore prosthetics for the scars on his face and when he would move his mouth to talk the prosthetics would become loose and then fall off making him go back to the trailer to re glue them and this process would take somewhere between 20-25 mins heath got tired off that and instead decided to lick his lips this would add a weird and unsettling feeling to the character which in my opinion worked but more importantly licking his lip kept the prosthetics in place because of the moisture. - the building shots in Chicago and Tokyo Christian bale insisted that he wanted to do those shots and not stunt men and nolan let him do it. - when heath was in the jail cell and Gordon got promoted to commissioner and everybody started clapping heath started clapping too but it wasn’t in the script he just did it. - Bruce Wayne penthouse was not really the top level of the building it was actually the main floor what they did was cover all the windows with green screens and used cgi to make it look like it was high in the air you can see pictures on google - when heath joker said too Batman “you complete me” he was mocking Tom cruise and bale used Tom cruise as inspiration to play Patrick Bateman -the card on the fake Batman read “will the real Batman please stand up” this was a Eminem quote
I can't say that I liked your reactions, laughing at every moment, not paying attention to some important scenes and the final comment of "yeah, yeah we know" seemed disrespectful to me. But despite everything, it is a reaction
I love how Joker just psychologically is messing with Batman the whole time while taking out crime in his own way. & Batman is very depressed one of my fav scenes is the party scene cause during Bruce’s talk with Rachel before him coming to the balcony he throws his drink away lets his smile down and you see his face he’s just tired of all the long nights and is being honest with her other than Alfred he has to lie to everyone and put on a fake facade . Loved all the acting in this & the story & Joker is all about games in one of the cartoons he kidnapped people & destroyed a train on Christmas all to jsut throw a pie in Batman’s face. & DC has better villains than marvel half the time in some stuff Batman will be a side character or not even in an episode and it will focus on a villain it’s great . Everyone gets development. Yall should watch Batman Mask of the Phantasm & Batman Year 1 both great films
@7:35 The batman was able to bend the barrel of the gun, because he was using a metal bender (they will show it in a small 2-sec clip). The metal bender for maximum support + Bruce's rigorous physical training made him do that.
@ActorsWatchingActors Christopher Nolan added autotune to Bale's voice in this film. His voice was more of a whisper except for when he yelled in Batman Begins. Not sure why Nolan added the autotune in TDK and TDKR.
Thanks for the feedback. This was an early reaction and our first movie - so I think we’ve worked out a good bit of the kinks now. Anything specific you thought should be fixed though? Just in case there’s something we haven’t addressed yet. Also, glad you love the content! :)
