Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on "Batman Begins" and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Congratulations to Michael Caine on celebrating his 80th birthday this week. He provided an invaluable contribution to the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy and he has added class and integrity to every film with which he has been associated. He was particularly outstanding in The Ipcress File, Educating Rita, Sleuth, The Cider House Rules, Alfie and Hannah And Her Sisters. Nolan clearly enjoys working with Caine; Hopefully the relationship will continue.

when u combine michael caine with morgan freeman together, this is simply epic!! Michael Caine is British's finest exports which his acting skills resembles "FINE DINING IN ACTING WORLD"!! No wonder Christopher Nolan calls him his "good luck charm", the frequent collaboration works, all the time!! Morgan Freeman, his performance in The Shawshank Redemption totally blew me away, and that's it!! Two iconic screen legends in an interview? Classically mind-blowing at their very best!!

Yeah...even now I tear up at one scene. It's the bit when Scrooge is taken by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come to the graveyard, and he's told to look at the graves. He goes 'this one' then the ghost points further back, which happens twice, then he gets to the final one, and it has his name on it. Michael Caine is Scrooge, and the Muppets honestly make it work well.
