the song fits perfectly with the films, this shows us that all the darkness that surrounds us in our everyday lives and how we can rise above it and become something greater with our lives ,well that's the message that the films have given me, anyways great video man :)

The Dark Knight Trilogy had a combination of interesting connections between batman and the villains he faced. Batman Begins: Student vs. Teacher The Dark Knight: Opposites colliding The Dark Knight Rises: Facing his own dark self since Bruce was offered to do what Bane had done in TDKR.

It's kind of ironic, it's been my theory for a little while now that Nolan's trilogy is about how Bruce Wayne is dangerously deluded, he thinks he's a hero, but a lot of the events of all three films - when taken at face value - suggest he's just an angry lunatic who manages to reverse his wrongs, most of which the populace never learned of anyway. Great video btw, very well edited.

Bruce didn't murder Ra's. He gave him the opportunity to escape and/or save himself, but Ra's chose to accept death. Hence why he closed his eyes when the train derailed.

really you could say that of all hero's really. when evil people see something good they must try to break it. when it comes down to it evil always try's the destroy good, hero's create their enemy's just because they try to protect the innocent and do what is right.

I saw people saying that Batman isn't a hero in this trilogy, that it illustrates that Wayne is "Deluded" well I disagree. They focused on this in "The Dark Knight" quite a lot. Harvey Dent said "You die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain." I think that what was happening was that Batman faced down these terrors as a hero and then stopped being batman when it was over, a way of "dying a hero" if you want to think of it like that.

Just wanted to add that - yeah, Bruce straight up murdered Ra's, I'm glad they chose not to ignore that - and he threatens to kill Bane, I thought about why Nolan's Wayne would make up an excuse to kill Ra's and realized (on top of their being dangerous) all of these villains - Talia, Bane, and Ra's - knew his identity. If arrested... well you know. The best part is, in a lot of forums people disagreed with me about Ra's, but in Rises, when accused, Wayne doesn't even deny it.

Without Batman, then Ra would have destroyed Gotham at the time begins take place. The destruction (or at least the try) was inminent, Batman or not, so, Batman really saved a city targeted by the shadow league, he was just responsable as how the things escalated.
