I experienced this very strongly too. It’s taken me a long time, but I’m realizing that I truly deserved more. People started coming into my life who really cared for me and this is how I started to learn that lesson. I look back and see that if I had known or realized how much love and generosity I needed in my life beforehand, I never would have had any connection with the person that hurt and abandoned me in the first place. I didn’t know how loving and generous I was, it was always just my nature, so not receiving it back hurt and confused me so much more. This video is really helping me to understand what I went through and why I had so much anger and resentment for so long. I think these feelings were quite justified but recovering from the trauma of the situation is leading me to the better life that I deserve, where I can receive the love and kindness back in synergistic relationships. In the last few years I lost several connections and that I thought were really necessary and important for me. I blamed myself and wanted to help them, but I’m realizing that as hard as it is for me to say, that they really weren’t what I needed. I wasn’t appreciated and I wasn’t being given what I needed and it’s ok for me know that I require more from people and the people I used to be close to are not a good match for me.
