There’s this guy in my gym who’ve been through a lot (even prison for years) and has issues with his family. He said the gym is the happiest place for him and it’s cool. What bothers me with him is he likes hard sparring and I hate hard sparring. Whenever we’re sparring I’m like at 80-90% with him, I’m a heavyweight and after each sparring he tells me, I feel like I lost years of my life sparring with you. It just makes me sad, hard sparring is a cope for him J think but that’s the only thing he likes. When we are sparring, I’m thinking about not getting hit to the head and it’s usually the case. He ends up with the most damage every time
