It's this young generation of kids who don't care about the relevance, but more so on getting what they want no matter the consequences. She should've gotten greenies, severe onycholysis, and broken free edges. Only then will she realize and appreciate your knowledge and expertise.

When you want the shap nail you have to do really long nails that don't curved down. Also you have to enhance the sharpness my gel or acrylis.

Gorgeous set!!! I just can't with these people...Some thinks their nails are groing from the end and don't understand why the design is a few mm away from their cuticles after 4 weeks and leave a bad review for a bad refill.... These kind of people don't understand hair growth either, thinking their hair grows from the end and they get mad at the hair stylist for coloring badly and missing their roots....!!??

Omgosh I have so many things to say on this subject lol. First of all, you did a gorgeous set for her. They looked a million times better than when she came to you. Second, I fully agree that certain shapes need a good length on them to look right. So-called "short stilettos" are a fairly big thing here in the US and I think they look terrible. I'm not a nail tech but if I was, it's a shape I don't think I'd agree to do. They're just not flattering at all. Third, I just cannot understand why some people get so worked up about keeping their natural nails. When they're as long or longer than your model's, they already look like they're not real. And don't get me started on how dirty they look on the underside 🤢. Very few people will have naturally straight and even natural nails and there's so much more that can be done design wise if they're extensions. It just never makes sense to me to insist on keeping a natural nail that will look fake anyway. Is it just to be able to brag that you grew them yourself? I just will never understand 😅😅😅

I really like those nails. Right now I have short stiletto nails but next time I'll go for round nails.

What do I search for the gel she used to fill the crack in the nail please?

I often get that weird sharp curve on the side when I’m trying to file my nails into an almond shape. I’m still learning!

When you filled the crack, did it touch the skin?

This nail shape always bothered me. I actually really love the after and when I do get my nails done, the soft almond is typically what I go for. It looks very elegant on the one or two trapezoidal nails I have, slimming them down to fit in with the rest of my slimmer nails. I find that my nails last the longest when they are in that shape as well. Younger people are used to very trendy, very not mainstream nails. They don't want to conform.

I have a question about doing really clubbed nails. Should enhancements be done on this type of nail ? If so, what procedure? Thanks.
