I love it when he geeks out over meeting the Vampire King, so cute and relatable. It's also interesting that one of the very few intelligent Candy People leans towards dark magic, maybe there's a bigger reason why PB prefers to make most of her citizens a little half-baked (Starchy and his conspiracy theories also come to mind)
Agreed. I love Peppermint Butler. Yeah this video didn't really bring up any theories, more of just the story of Peppermint Butler. But that's something I will definitely do in the future
Personally I think PB believes that if a candy denizen has half her intelligence they'd do half of what she does. And she wouldn't tolerate someone doing even a tenth what she does without thinking them a threat.
@damen whelan maybe, but she mentions more than once that she created candy people because she missed being part of the Mother Gum. She isn't an evil person, but the struggle to build her kingdom made her emotionally hard. It really isn't until she makes friends with Finn that she starts to change, and I think that's what really makes Finn a good, heroic guy, like in the episode "What Was Missing," he brings people together and brings out the best of his friends. I think PB would have become a real dictator without his influence, and she definitely wouldn't have been back on good terms with Marceline, because she also mellowed out around Finn over time.
To be fair, anytime she does make something halfway intelligent, they always wind up monsters. Her family, goliad, lemongrab, even pepbut is hardcore evil. The only intelligent candy person that wasn't evil was cinnamon bun, and that was through outside influence. She probably figured it was better to have docile idiots than rebellious citizens
Peppermint Butler, is by far one of my favorite characters, that episode with Lemongrab, when they drop hot sauce in peppermint Butlers, eye was absolutely hilarious 😂 👁
One of the reasons I love this show so much as an adult 😂 this show doesn't ONLY include the story of 2 buddies, but also stories with background characters.
I love this character❤my favourite part with him was the episode where he fails to help finn and jake and doesnt even say anything. He just jumps out of the tree house breaking the window 😂😂😂
We've seen pepbut battle, and he got his stripped candy behind handed to him by peace-master. He couldn't even handle the spirit of a house fly. His "dark magic" is weak parlor tricks. The only powerful thing about him is his relationships. Being the servant of Princess Bubblegum (who's basically a god) and his friendship with death is his strongest Assets. I really wish he would've been given better feats. He's one step above abracadaniel in terms of raw magical power, in my opinion. The fandom hypes him up he but he's just wasted potential.
It's a case of 'prep time'. He also doesn't get 'his butt handed to him' in that fight, he loses in actual magic combat due to anti-dark charms, then uses very powerful transformation magic to transform Peacemaster's kids into monsters?? And wins pretty easily???
I still watching the episode for the wezird city right now and i didint understand is that his past or himself after gumball kill him by the juice?? Some body explain pleas
In Fiona and Cake episode instead of Peps we had Butterscotch Butler and she wanted Prince Gumball to make her the next ruler of candy kingdom. And we've seen Peppermint Buttler become one in the end
@@TheSilentpigs100 it was after the main series since Peppermint Butler got reset in Gumbaldia since he got hit by dumdum juice and has to work his way up again
He has got to be some race of demon or maybe even a demon overlord with the kind of connections that he has with h3ll and close relationship with The Ruler of the Nightosphere.
