Personally, I’ve done both butterfly and all the other clicking methods, and personally it’s more fun to not double click because you can actually see your skill level, instead of easily just getting combos left right and center. You actually can get better at the game by not butterflying in my opinion

So much information very nicely put together, but I wouldn't say that double clicking will get you banned on hypixel. There is a border which doesn't allow you to above 60 cps without a yt - rank. Also I think the limit was decreased recently (info is not confirmed, I don't want to take the risk and try it on my own). Overally great video!

Very well made video, thank you for sharing such detailed insight on this IMO far too common phenomenon. Bedrock player BTW: I believe that if the mouse you've had for a long time happens to double click unintentionally or if it comes with a lower debounce out of the box without you knowing about it, it's mostly fair game. But if you buy a specific mouse for the sole purpose of getting a hardware advantage over other players, or if you play with software looking for such advantages, that's just not right. And, most of all, I believe that if you do get a CPS of over 20 and you're aware of it, you should be looking for a way to set it back a little. Plenty of software tools exist to fix your debounce and to reduce and/or prevent double clicking, as shown in this video. Since Minecraft runs at a speed of 20 updates, or ticks, per second, a CPS of over 20 literally yields more than one click for each in-game tick, so why even bother? Just fix it to be level with other players and keep the game fun.

Disclaimer: A lot of things here are very oversimplified and some CAN be wrong. I remember you telling me that you will make this video, but I managed to miss the upload by 3 weeks, anyway, some corrections: 1. Literally everything: a better pc, a better ping, a better mouse is an unfair advantage. Only things that CAN be enforced - ARE enforced, for example cheat clients, macros, and as you said, sometimes double-clicking, although this has become an exception in recent times. There can never be even odds when you're fighting someone as skilled as you, there can only be similar odds. You can't make everyone play minecraft blindfolded, because it's an unfair advantage against blind people. 2. You said in the description that you used intel edits video to understand double-clicking. While that video is popular, it also has some misleading information and confusing usage of terms, intel later clarified some of the stuff he said in the comments/description. That whole situation in very confusing, but if you want more info you can dm. 3. Double clicking is a technique where you "click" your mouse twice with one finger motion. This however is (almost) impossible when you jitter click, since it requires your finger to "land-tap-click" the mouse button, and when you jitter click your finger doesn't lift up from the mouse button enough for there to be a "land-tap-click", thus, no double-click (usually). This means that you almost can't double click while jitter clicking unless you are lifting your finger in the air really high(in which case it's very slow) or unless your mouse switches are seriously broken or you're using a macro. 4. Drag clicking doesn't involve the same kind of double-clicking you find in butterfly clicking, but you do need a mouse that can double click to drag click. 5. There's a lot of different ways, a mouse double click prevention software works, but some can filter out normal clicks if you click fast. 6. You can't double click with high enough debounce time. 7. Triple-clicking is also a technique which you can do on any mouse that can double-click, it doesn't require a broke mouse, not sure about quad-clicking tho. Ok, that's all for now, have a good one.

In my opinion DC is fine if it's like a broken mouse and you have no other mouse but if your using the debounce slider and going to 4ms/0ms is what I would call unfair and if your double clicking mouse has a slider then turn it up to 10ms+ if it is down already out of the box.

I myself don't support or encourage double clicking. Since i see it as unfair for many people who can't afford mice that can double click. If all mice software included debounce it would have been fine.

my opinion is that double clicking is ok. because he said people cant control wifi, but people can control keyboards. and I don't know bout yall but I dont think a keyboard from 2001 is gonna get the same gameplay as a higround keyboard. But I do respect server rules and I learned that instead of getting a new mouse You can control the cps. for example if you butter fly control the speed rather then buying a new mouse.

I do agree with a few of your opinions however 1 I disagree with, no Minecraft is not pay to win due to double clicking, you can’t just buy a new mouse and start dragging 100 cps. Drag clicking takes skill people like BedlessNoob ect… trained for so long to get to that point.

Double clicking isn’t pay to win I can literally get consistently 18 cps on a 10 dollar mouse. It’s about technique and cps being the most important in Java 1.8 has already been debunked. Seriously, I’m tired of the same Java 1.8 stereotypes :( at least you tried to represent all sides :)

My question is will I get banned for lowering my debounce time? I think that the hive should allow it because some people who have extremely old mice are probably doing it and don't even know it. I think if your mouse double clicks you shouldn't have to replace it so you don't get banned from the hive. And also fast clicking on bedrock doesn't really effect pvp that much in my opinion.

i personally think dc is bad as i am a switch player that averages about 8 cps and i think when you fight a double clicker, there is a severe gap in cps that makes it hard to tell if they are cheating or not and it also makes pvping not fun
