Hello, everyone, and welcome to the first video in a new series The Darkest Internet Rabbit Holes Iceberg explained Vol 1. This iceberg was too big for a traditional video, so I decided to create a whole series around it. As the topic is so interesting and has 100s of entries.
This iceberg was created by Nora Kingsley with some edits and additional entries by me.

The Mandela Effect thing makes me so frustrated. Some people will literally make up a whole story about traveling between dimensions before they admit that they just misremembered something. The Human brain is incredibly faulty, it's not out of the picture that a bunch of people can just be mistaken on something. A majority of human history is millions of people being wrong about stuff.

Clown costumes ended up getting banned at all the schools in my area at that time. Teenagers were dressing up as them, then attacking homeless people in my town.

Surprised no one ever talks about the creepy pasta that scares me to death to this day, "It has a name." Well written but more surreal psychic damage than horror per se like reading hate speech that starts making sense. The way it twisted your childhood wonder before crushing it with despair and the monster is there but always beyond reach and unknowable yet all around you. Im getting sick just thinking about it but no one ever talks about it. Almost like a fever dream.

@@imextremlyhandsome Exactly! Things felt so much more... calm? I don't know how to describe it. I mean, you didn't really have all the crazy socio-political shit happening today. It's as if some massive paradigm shift in consciousness happened and yeah, as if most people went insane. It's sad though, I wish the vibe of the 2000s was still around and everything was fine...

@@Providence.. I agree. And it's painful having to grow up during these times as it feels like no one can tell you why everyone seems so unstable. For some reason the average mind went crazy in 2016.

@@imextremlyhandsome Yep, I feel bad for kids growing up today though, man. Only thing I regret doing when I was a kid was taking those years for granted and not knowing that I'd never experience them again. It's kinda refreshing actually to hear from someone who notices the same phenomena at least.
