The timeline is a bit weird, I do recall mentions of Khaenriah during one of the Enkanomiya quests which would suggest that the actual collapse of the Enkanomiyan civilization isn't terribly long ago, and probably during the age of the Archons. It's not clear to me when exactly the Sunchildren were relative to the actual collapse of that civilization though, especially since you have to imagine that if there were only 7 and each reigned for less than two decades, Enkanomiya lasted for considerably longer than they did.

Lore reader, there’s a reason why “the doctor” was kicked out of his home town and Sumeru’s akademiya and it is horrible deranged experiments on children. Collei being one of them.

He is hot but absolutely fxcked and ngl, as much as I want him, I would love to see him die. He does some experiments on humans too where they die brutally. If you've played the Aranara quest, somewhere there's a note detailing the deaths of three people due to experiments just so Dottore could learn something about the Aranara (could have missed some info here)

Did i miss something? All i know is that he experimented on children, which is a common thing in honkai impact

@@snlqpasj As a reference to Dottore, he pretty much didn't care if the children died or not, and when his assistant died, he just converted him into a very unstable robot that wandered killing stuff because he wanted to and didn't think much of it. He tricked mondstad into giving him children by saying they will make them a soldier, then they never returning (luckily Kaeya and Diluc caught up on this, preventing further damage) They were pretty much used as lab rats. Collei, in an instance, was brought into the fatui after they tricked her mom (or her parents in general) into thinking they had a cure for her Eleazar. They captured Collei and when her mom, worried about her asked about what had happened, they silenced her... aka they disposed of her by unaliving her... the worse is that collei was at the other side of the door. Of course, what would Dottore do to this child? Of course experiment with her with a lot of other thousands of children! Then, inject them with the vengeful remains of gods of the past, making them even more mentally unstable and unable to control themselves and the power, even being manipulated by those same remains into giving into their bad feelings and doing horrible things. Dottore was also the owner of the Ruin Guard research facility in Childe's story quest, I think? And I think he was the one who released scaramouche's/kunikuzushi's sealed powers. Not saying it's worse than in Honkai cuz I don't play it nor know about its lore. Note this comment might be slightly inaccurate and I might've missed something... Edit: I started writing this comment since 34 seconds after you posted it... lol

I think it is because the stories becomes a lot more sad when a child is involved, it's usually like that. Because no matter what happens, no matter what the child did, in the end they are still a naive child that has plenty of room to grow and change + they still have a lot more life left to live. Therefore they missed out on a lot by the abuse they experienced.

You are implying that Enkanomiya came before the 7 archon. In short there are no archon to begin with, is what you meant. So I dun think there’s any relation at all. The more reasonable explanation, will be, they are worshiping the archons and they are presenting tributes offering’s. Remember they are kids without prior knowledge about anything, Only the people ard them knows.

Sometimes for Tanqrility I go to those Islands Tsurumi and Enkanomiya and they feel special cause they have no humans, even fatui aren't there so it feels lonely while listening to the great music it also brings some calmness to mind

Me too. I've just recently completed Inazuma Archon Quest, but too lazy to unlock Enkanomiya so I just moved to Sumeru Archon Quest 😂

You should unlock it its the best nation in the game IMO with great lore
