They might be protagonist and antagonist but that chemistry.... WOW! Alina has more romantic chemistry with him than her actual love interest. I can't wait to read the rest of the books. Although some people told me not to get my hopes up. But the Netflix show is heading to a different direction, hopefully. Ben Barnes' The Darkling look really really whipped for Alina. Like really in love with her. Seriously, they better give him a redemption arc. Based on what I've seen, the book lovers also agree that Ben's The Darkling should be with Alina more than Mal. I have this crazy idea that maybe Mal could be with Zoya. They have that cool flirt at the first episode. They should explore that. Not that Mal is not a good character. The show improved so much from the book. But when you put Ben into the equation... there is no other options.
