Ahh, I don't remember the combat keeping me on the edge of my seat so much! It's such a pleasure to get to go back through and remember the details of the story, the world, and Druth's truth. The way they have presented the story, POV, puzzles, and inner voices - really connects you to Senua in a way I haven't felt in just any game. I hope you enjoy this episode 💛

This game really does a phenomenal job of making you feel what Senua feels. Looking forward to the sequel more than ever now!

All the God of War games draw heavily from the depicted religion but slightly altered to make most of the gods bad guys. To be fair, they didn't really need to change much haha. Even in the oldest available texts Odin is portrayed as plotting and untrustworthy, especially if you aren't an Aesir. And none of gods want to honor any deal ever if they can get out of it. I'm pretty sure the plot point about Odin trying to find a way to forever avoid death was something the GoW devs made up, but it ties in really well with his lust for knowledge.

The actress who played in Senua never even acted before. She was the video editor at first. This was her first role, and she did win awards❤

Watched a number of people play this game, most of them just spam heavy attack the entire time. Kast though, went using light attacks. Senua has somewhere around 8-10 combos using a mix of the 3 attack buttons, making the combat a bit deeper than most give it credit for. Nothing wrong with Kast's approach, just thought it funny compared to the many others I watched. Great play through so far, very much enjoy how into it you are getting, it really is an amazingly immersive experience :)

I'm waiting foe the person who spams the melee button... that'll be unique... and annoying haha But yea, so many just spam the quick or the heavy rather than utilizing combos. But as you said, it's fine... just hurts to know how much the gameplay actually has to offer but isnt seen. Including the running attacks.

This reminds me of the story of Orpheus and Eurydice in Greek Mythology. Orpheus traveled to the underworld for his wife, who had died.

The way the Northmen killed Dillion is called the blood eagle. It was also portrayed in the show Vikings, which I recommend. If I'm not mistaken, Druth and Senua are Celtic and not from the North/Vikings.

Just want to say hope you are enjoying this game....I cannot watch this game....when I tried to play it, and several others I know, had our mental illness severely triggered by this game and literally could not play....I hope you and the community here are enjoying the play through and no one is having anything triggered for them....I wish you all happiness, joy, and good mental health

It is a shame to hear that you and others are unable to play this game and I am sorry it is that way, though it is understandable. The game really is extremely unique and special due to how well crafted it is and how thoughtful/serious the Dev's were concerning mental health. The only thing triggering for me about this playthrough, is that Kast seems to be oblivious to the fact the game explores Senua's Psychosis and she is attributing everything to some kinda "mysticism or magic" but otherwise its really awesome she is getting super immersed in the game, so its a fun watch overall.

The colors on the Rune circle is the indicator of whats missed. White is what youve aquired and RED is what you dont have. But because this is a swcod playtrhough, its not exactly true to this gsme. BUT, i can say that you did miss ONE in the Valravan section that will remain red.

Psychologist here, and I have to say that this is Such an amazing way to display schizophrenia. And I love how her being “cursed” is history accurate for how people would presumably view auditory and visual hallucinations.
