Yes, put a number or "logo" on the side. I painted a number on my 510 so I wouldn't have to tape numbers or use magnets for autocross etc. I think it looks good.
Always put covers.They are aero dynamic and look Kick Ass .I've owned many Z cars ,I have two Now. I would never run without ,Headlight covers. One of my S30's I'm putting a G-nose on which means Longer headlight covers !!! I always ,Hated, hated absolutely hated the G-nose ! I've owned S30's of all kinds Since the 80's ,hated the G-nose. A few months ago I was standing in-between 2 different G- nose cars. And They ARE so damn "EXOTIC"" looking .! Like a Komodo Dragon face! I now have to have one ,on my car ! I found good quality used G- nose buckets and front top connection panel. My friends going to let me pop a lower panel from his car. There's a guy on face book that makes clear headlight covers for the G-nose for ones with a trim ring and ones for non trim ring. Mark Clapp So I'm very excited to run the "Komodo Dragon Snout" on my S30. My other Resto mod of course will have Clear head light covers. They are just kick ass and help keep the nose down on the high way It stead of acting like two parachutes cupping the air rushing at it. They also save your $300 dollar head lights from damage !!! It's a win,win,win !
My head lamp brackets, side fenders, and lower bumper section were all welded or bondoed together by the previous owner. I’m wondering if it would be possible to separate myself. It seems you had the same issue , how much did the ship charge you / what shop?
I about bought one in Orlando off east 50 for $600.00 but i couldnt even get in the dam car i was 5' 7 135 lbs and i just gave up lolz it eas like trying to get in a shoe box

Come on man, you never have to ask to fit head light covers, every car has no chance of fitting headlight covers. And you MUST fit covers, it's so much a part of a Z. It's aero,it's Cool and one more thing "ITS COOL " Let's see...if you had a GT40, would you leave them off?????? The Japanese Ferrari has to have them !
No bargains in having paint done , only lower quality Paint is not cheap, labor is not cheap, materials are not cheap, skills are not cheap. Add this up....it's not cheap !
