A longtime favorite Philadelphia band in the 1980s that never got that elusive record deal. The Daves features the dynamic Bekka Eaton on vocals and a very talented band including Ronny Crawford on drums who has played with Lisa Loeb and others. I played them on Street Beat on WMMR in Philadelphia for years. ~ Cyndy Drue

I saw The Daves in Chicago mid 1980s somewhere in the north side. I remember this song!! So cool to hear it again. They also did “Wipe Out.” They turned all the lights off, and the drummer had drumstick that lit up at the tips. I had a cassette of them but have lost it.

Used to see them regularly in Philly late 80s. Great sound. Should have been bigger.

Thanks for uploading this! I didn't know they had any videos. Used to see them all the time in Philly. I still have one of their albums on vinyl.
