‘That’s how it always is’. That statement is false, sometimes people really do make it from nothing. I agree, PLENTY do have lots of wealth and privilege before succeeding but it is NOT always the case. All I’m trying to say. Furthermore, calling someone a dummy is an inadvertent way to project your own weaknesses. It suggests a rigid, isolated conscious, stabilised by defensive behaviour. Or, a fragile loser mentality, angry at the differences between you and them, rather than judging the people by character. Get working and you’ll soon yield some respect for yourself and implicitly for many great people too (not including Paul Singer😄).Have a mediocre day Mike

Risk appetite combined with risk-weighted investment return - imo. I'm a Capitalist & agree with most of what Paul Singer expressed in this interview; I have concerns over political funding & it's increasing ability to circumvent democracy though. BTW, I understand that most economic crises/conflicts originate from bad money management from regions/countries with weak institutions practising poor political & economic governance - history shows this scenario keeps repeating itself. Recent trading blocks emerging in South America, Africa & Asia will encourage political & economic reform & potentially reduce opportunities & criticism for such 'vulture' capitalism in future. A market-derived response to political/economic failure is the only enduring solution that also maintains democracy imo.
