I've been wanting a Beyond Infinity, I've got the original Infinity, I am liking this ball so far. I was gonna neither get a Kingpin Rule or a Beyond Infinity. I wish I could get both this ball and the Kingpin Rule. Nice video here, Nick. I can't believe how strong this ball is.
I like those colors because I can see the ball make the flip. Functional anesthetics (sp?). As always Brunsnick has the very best ball reviews on youtube.
B.Nick’ before I order merchandise t shirts’ may I ask are they 100% cotton or mix with rayon or whatever they call it. XL I wear, for example wife buys me xxl from Walmart dry it from wash and it shrinks enough to be a tad bigger of xl and fits perfect. Just need to know from you so I can order correctly. Thank Nick.
@@remington1439 they are a cotton poly blend. I have found the black shirts fit more like slimmer cut and the other colors are a little more loose cut.
Very pretty ball. My friend and I were spitballing arsenal ideas and he suggested one of the pieces being a medium assym with a high-flaring layout. With the lower int diff, this one just may fit the bill!
Interesting how our games vary. You say you throw left to right out to 5 board to get entry angle, while I throw right to left over 5 board for the same thing. You are standing on 15 while I am standing on zero. This ball did look very good. Nice continuation and response to the friction without dying out.
Enjoyed the video. Great content. Did you ever do a video on the Brunswick Attitude Control ? Been looking for the video, but can't find one done by you.
What lay out did you use on this ball?? I have one now with a layout of 50x3.5x15 and just don’t see it working. House shot in on is a 44 ft oil pattern. Oil heavier on the outside edges with 23mls of oil
I had one question about drilling a ball for a right-handed bowler with thumb in the ball. Do you think a negative layout would help control the backend reaction on those flat oil patterns. I remember watching Fran Bax win the singles event in Niagara Falls shotting a 833 i believe, and he used negative layout for an RH bowler. Of course, he won that over 30 yrs ago.
No such thing as a negative pin. I know what you mean with the term but it’s based off the PAP, not how it looks in relation to the drilled holes. Longer pin to pap’s can look negative and will generally flare less and can offer control or more length c
Brunsnick, i was wondering if you're going to usbc nationals in vegas? If so, can you maybe talk and show what equipment you might take, i was there and really struggled with that crazy shot bowled team on 3&4, shot 978 1st game, we all felt good, that shot dried up so fast that non of us could strike, and tring to make spares was almost impossible, i can't remember when they hooked that much, maybe Knoxville when there was no oil for D&S event. Thank you.
surface is the answer and a weak core (high RG gives length). You have 85% of the ball motion being determined by surface alone. Also just because its polished doesnt mean its not gonna hook, rather it will be more aggressive once it hits or its very dry making a sharper 'brake'. Which is why polished balls tend to be way more safer to play with especially once the fronts and mids give away. The only option for a heavy sanded ball is to chase oil like a madman. A simple yet effective trick also is to not exessively wipe off the flare if you wanna get nerdy trying to keep a gold zone for slightly longer. If i were to give a tip to you as an individual i would try learn/better yourself how to manipulate axis tilt to get the desired length first a foremost. After that its rotation obviously. Dont be afraid to manipulate surface and also have different surfaces on your SYMS/Asyms. Especially if you carry around 4+ ball arsenal.
I throw the original infinity and love it. But I do struggle a little bit with carry once the oil gets burned up, and I’ve been considering a new pearl for those later games. Considering I start with the infinity, do you think the endeavor sor the beyond infinity would be better suited for the job?
Hey Nick! If i have the Tour Dynam-X, Xponent and Virtual Energy Blackout. Will the Hammer effect, Archetype Hybrid or the Beyond infinity will be the one that fits the spot in my arsenal? Two handed, high rev wide angle player here!
I don’t know competitor gear, sorry! All 3 of ours you mentioned are pretty skid flip, with the Beyond being the cleanest and longest, Effect being the middle and Archetype Hybrid being the quickest but more forward off the spot.
If the cuda pearl is gonna get discontinued is there a new piranha pearl announced soon 👀 I JUST snagged a classic jade piranha pearl last weekend, that could be a fun comparison for me
How are you getting the specto readings when I do not see the specto between the two lanes? Now my question which ball you like better the Track archtype Hybrid or this ball better.
@@BBBYpsi when you edit and add it later I don’t see it. Both balls are good, just a little different in response to friction. Archetype Hybrid is much quicker to hook and roll more forward. This is cleaner and much later. There’s room for both in a bag.
I'd like to see a comparison between the Beyond Infinity, and the Endeavor. I feel these two would be very similar, even though one is a symmetric and the other is asymmetric. Thoughts?
How do you get so many "bad racks"? You would think those machines would be tuned to be perfect... Is that common on Brunswick pinsetters? I would think with maintenance it would be uncommon. My local house always sets them perfect... Although I may have a different definition of "bad rack".
I enjoy your videos and have previously only purchased the Brunswick brands but I thought I once heard a man say “HK22 isn’t going to be on everything…” Sorry but I’m not a fan. Bought two. One completely dead after 30 games and proper maintenance on surface. 2nd one is trying to be on its way out too. All my non HK22 Brunswick brands balls are still great after 75 plus games. SPI here I come! I hear their coverstocks have more life in them.
It’s very frustrating to say the least. I love my BW 2.0 and other non HK22 balls I have, but I seem to be striking out with HK22. I have talked to others that have had the same experience so I’m not alone. Some say they have had a great experience and others have had my experience.. I have a Radical Trailblazer and Conspiracy Scheme with the motion magic cover. I have over 100 games on them and they are still great. I know that cover was developed during the development of HK22. So far I think it’s better
I've bought and Infinity in August 2023 and is already done. Tried to "revive" it but I have the same problem over and over again. No oil absorb, even with a proper maintenance from my local pro shop. It works for 2-3 games then back again to the same thing. Never again Brunswick, never again.
So many bowling balls, it's like every other week there seem to be new balls from each brand.. what happens to bowling balls that no one buys? I have 3, one used and i cant seem to deside by the time i think i have one 8 more come out.. 😂
Yeah, the Effect looks nice.. im having a hard time choosing my next ball. I havent been bowling that long, first year in league and really became addicted. Im at the alley 2 to 3 days a week because i want to be better than i am.. 😁
You’d typically need a longer pattern with more volume towards the outsides. That will force a breakpoint more towards the pocket. 10 board break point on this shot would likely need way more speed or a lot less revs.
I’m reviewing a new ball, not shooting spares. I’ve gone away from doing a lot of comparisons, they’re usually too specific for a general audience to watch. I do a few here and there when they make sense.
@@brunsnick i would like to see you demo this ball or another new ball on a completely dry lane. that means zero oil. the reason why i say that is because in new york in a league or in open bowling there is always a major problem with dry lanes. only the pro tour has oil to be able to use many of the balls on the market today.
You know, you do SO MANY reviews of all of the new high performance balls... but the poor new Spare Balls get no attention! Only 3 high performance balls announced, but a lonely new Rhino and 4 new plastic balls got announced too... for shame... they get no love... In all seriousness, might be fun to compare the different "classes" of spare balls for straightness like the Crown Jewel vs. Hammer Axe vs. T-Zone/White Dot vs. Radical Spy.
