@@Northernlion The angle of reflection is relative to the surface, called the surface normal. The incidence and reflection angle added together make the 90 degree angle!

9:50 NL's brain is pogging off. The old NL would have tried to use that first mirror for a while before accidentally finding the right solution. New NL took like 3 seconds to realize that he had to use the far mirror first. My man's brain is truly expanding to levels never seen before Edit: that "Master of inefficiency" achievement was a 10/10 bit

@@R1ddle There are controls in the game for slow movement which prevent that :-) you have to have a working mouse wheel for that though :p

Hey NL, just a comment -- on Android, when you've watched a video, a red bar appears on the bottom of the thumbnail according to how much you've watched. If you've finished watching the video the red bar extends across the whole bottom of the thumbnail. When your thumbnails have red borders like this one, I might be more inclined to think I've watched it already and skip it.

Funny, that red bar is also why I HATE premiers, I never get the red bar so I don't realize I've watched it. Then I click on the video (because of course, no red bar, I haven't watched) and see it's a video I already watched! Damned premiers make that dislike button itch.

I think this puzzle game having multiple right answers is really cool and lets NL complete puzzles instead of chasing threads that go nowhere it is interesting to see how people's puzzle solving differs, and having multiple ways to complete levels keeps it more accessible than a stricter puzzle game

I agree with NL on this one. If this had come out beside Braid I'm sure it would be in my library and I'd look back at it fondly as a neat little atmospheric thing. Being spoiled for choice has, well, spoiled me. I'm looking at this big list of steam games during quarantine and I've barely fired any of them up.

On the thing about indie games nowadays missing something the old ones had. Yes, I've definitely noticed that too. I call that difference 'elegance'. They were undoubtedly simpler, but they were so much more focused on their core idea. Simplicity is not always bad. Some of the old indie games will probably stay with me forever. Gish and Braid really come to mind. In a more game designer-esque perspective, you could say that in such games the one core system needs to be perfect, where in bigger games there are multiple systems. (which are often not as good)

Hey just a small note from a huge fan, red borders on thumbnails mean that at a glance, my dumb brain registers the video as already watched because it thinks the red bar showing watch progress is full. Just one of those weird dumb brain things I guess.
