"Elements of a good foundation?" I'm sorry man, but that's ridiculous. I mean how low are we going to set the bar for a game's potential? Sure, its got three dimensional spaces with things in it and guns that sort of work, but that is not a foundation.

It may have the elements of a good 'foundation' (not their network code), but there is no hope for it in the hands of it's current developer. If it took them 'years' to get to this state, they have shown everyone they lack the core competency to take it much further. They are far too inexperienced, amateurish and lacking in raw talent, desire or ingenuity to see this through to the finish line. At least going just with what we've seen up to now and this release state.

Pretty sure gun shots were added as sound effects, seen people spend hours chasing shots noise to never find it.

The Day 1 patch notes are an effing JOKE !! Server Browser - Removed “full” servers completely so now you will see only the servers that have free slots. Fixed that the door from Leonard’s room sometimes could not be opened. Added some necessary sound fixes Other minor tweaks.

I don't like that on the interiors everything has the same specular and gloss effects so the lights effects all the furniture, the floor, and other props like the cash registers the same. It makes the rooms look very flat and plain. They could have done more reflection on things like the floors or counter tops to kind of break up some of that. The windows don't cast much reflection either. It just makes things look very dull. The lighting in earlier footage was superb. Fake or not they should have used that as a template to match that level of realism. And they could have spent a little more time on the character's hair. It looks so PS3 or PS4. The colors of the enviornment could have been more vibrant. It's not horrible at all despite all of my critiques. But it definitely has room to be improved a lot. Also the zombies should not be so bullet sponge with the headshots. Why is it taking 3 or 4 headshots to bring down a zombie? Hasn't that always been the zombie cryptonite? A bullet to the brain.

no time limit for extraction and the city were great, it felt openworld with the right updates this could have been great imo

I’m so glad I waited. Red flags were blinding lol. Maybe it might be good in the future cause it for sure does have a good foundation, but for 39$ it’s got a long way to go.

The only entertainment this game brought was the negative steam reviews, and YT post-release reviews. So it did accomplish something. Game refunded after 3hrs27min of play. Half of which was glitches and game breaking bugs. Screw these scammers and liars.

Brrrr, At first after the into section, I was impressed! Runs like a champ on my System 100-150 FPS in 4k, CPU was around 30% usage and GPU in the 90% up It's not really what they advertised though, Today Getting into a server is easy on the first or 2nd try, They have patched it and now you can jump over stuff, Did dome nice looting , stored it , logged back in and it's all gone..............??? I was defending it now my enthusiasm has dive bombed :/

Sadly i saw it as a cash grab and its not a survival horror its an extraction game. like the new division game coming out soon will definitely be better then this. I feel they just wanted people's money and they got it. Well i just hope people got what they paid for because honestly i don't feel this is worth the asking price and i can see in 6 to 8 months maybe a year at best they will abandon this project and move onto something else.

Seriously what did people expect after 3 to 5 years worth of lies and trailers that are way different from the actual product. The Devs own back catalogue of games should have sent Red flags if people had looked at them (very few games and all abandoned or never updated/fixed). It was supposed to be a Genere defining big open world P v P/P v E MMO Zombie survival game. What did they release a P v P Extraction mode in a city with virtually no Zombies out in the wild. Now the Devs are deleting all known previous Video's pertaining to this game that they have been shown over the last 3 or so years. Appparently 32,000 people bought this game mode at $40,00 per shot (thats $1.28 million theyv'e just pocketed) for a broken Game mode. And people wonder why there are Devs/Studios that rip people off. (Too many suckers out there.)

It's a mess because it's a work in progress early access game. Even rust needed a ton of work as time progressed before it became what it is today. The day before may be shite now but may become a gem in a few years.

Peoples just like to complain about anything and dosnt understand that the game is it's a work in progress early access's. Lots of games been a complete mess after been launched, remember Fallout 76? what a shit hole it was and how about New World?. Lots of those negative reviews dosnt even say anything they just go raging like a little kids. " I cant log into the game" and there is your bad review and they give it a negavite.

I refunded. 2 hours in, 1 hour spent in the lobby. I understand the disappointment that’s it’s not open world, but even as an extraction shooter this would be a good game. THEY NEED TO FIX - Connecting to servers - Getting stuck everywhere (I had to leave a game for this and lost all progress, also reset my whole game after that upon joining a new server, absolutely insane.) - Guns shouldn’t all feel the same - the map needs more extract, in the city. - Some items, especially quest items, are very easy to find, should be a little harder - Add vaulting and melee - Bodies should not despawn or at least, not that fast. - Being very precise and holding F to open loot boxes is pretty annoying. - As for me, player pop is okay, this is preference but I’m more of a PVE guy in these games, THIS NEEDS MORE ZOMBIES ON THE MAP. Today I lost all progress after getting stuck inside a flower pot, couldn’t fu*king jump over it. I left that server, and then couldn’t join a new one because it would say there’s Connection issues. After finally joining, my whole progress reset and it restarted from the first cutscene with the doctor. At this point, I lost my shit. I’ve been waiting for this for years, and I repeat, this game has a great foundation. I hope they fix all this stuff. And I’d gladly buy it back in a few months.
