Back in the early 2000s, there was an arm wrestling fed that required all participants to wear those kinds of shirts. I remember watching one of the tournaments from that fed on ESPN. Ron Bath, John B., and Bagent were all involved. I wish I could remember the name of the event. I think Ron Bath won the thing right hand too.

@@kirkvj8330 Yes I wonder if that's the one I'm thinking of. Wasn't it around 2004? I remember also Jerry Cadorette and Marcio Barbosa were in it. It came down to Brzenk and Bath on the right hand, and Bath took it because Brzenk was coming off a shoulder injury. Bath was also very dominant that year. It was one of the few times I saw Brzenk lose in a tournament style. He's lost tournaments before, but he was on a 20 year winning streak for supermatches.

it's actually shot incredibly well, whoever was the camera operator was very smart. Most of the time, non HD video shot in anything but incredibly bright studio light or sunshine would be unwatchable. The camera person was getting up real close to subjects so that faces filled up the screen, this maximised what resolution the camera had and whatever light was available.

two things...the title was born from John Brzenk's comments that this has "changed" things...adding the endurance element when you have a best of anything and very little set up time..."bringing in a new breed" of armwrestlers. To me this comment stands out as Devon's carreer personifies that very statement second. This was the day Devon solidified himself in the world conversation that he NEVER left again. He was known to be a badass among many at this time especially Canada however it was solidified on this day regarding the masses. (and when I say masses I am talking about the armwrestling community world wide)

Bagent is such a loud mouthed troll. This was a real battle. Bath was struggling to deal with the fact that Devon was able to turn it around like he did. Some of the best hits I've seen Devon make considering he is usually the one trying to stop the hit. Larratt beats Bath easily these days though.

There were fouls on both sides, american refs only called against the Canadian, but yea sure it was Devon who was cheating huh. The Devon who just destroyed Monster Todd just two days ago at King of the table would crush anyone... put the best Ron Bath ever was against present day Devon and we all know who wins..
