Back then, bts was getting criticism for their vocals and Jungkook went to masked singer to prove them wrong. He’s the main vocalist for a reason. Some armys don’t give JK enough credit for his main vocalist position but JK literally carries the group’s vocal department on his back. He’s credit for chorus, background vocals and guides for almost every BTS songs, even for other members solo songs. He basically spends more time in the studio than the others. The other members record their parts according to JK’s guides. He always helps other members with vocal advices too. Even now in solo era, he recorded guide for Yoongi’s People Part 2, he did background vocals for Jimin’s Letter and he helped, gave directions to V for his Love Me Again song. He does so much for the group. Mind you the other groups main vocalists doesn’t do guides or background vocals. They have other people doing it for them but for BTS, JK always does himself. He needs to appreciated more for the amount of work he does as a main vocalist
This was when JK earned the acknowledgement of being a singer not just a kpop idol. He gained the masses respect as a SINGER…it was one of his proudest moment being able to show his talent as a solo singer
If he was born 1997 and this was 2015 he is only 18 or 19 here. This is the best song to showcase his vocal ability and range. I hope after the massively popular GOLDEN, he will continue to explore solo performances along with BTS once they are back in 2025
