The Sequence for the Requiem Mass in Gregorian Chants, Dies Irae , or "Day of Wrath," is one of the most powerful and haunting sequences in the Traditional Latin Mass, particularly in the context of the Requiem Mass, which is offered for the souls of the faithful departed.
