Ran’s journey is Superlega 2021-2022 He came in the middle of the season and was benched understandably. He played the last 3 matches as libero because of his defensive skills helping Padova escape relagation. 2022-2023 He and his team played for salvation, avoiding relegation. His post regular season was the battle for fifth place but he did not play that much. 2023-2024 This year, he dreamed to experience play-offs with Monza. He just did that with the help of his teammates. I can’t believe he went beyond his dreams of quarterfinals. He is going to play for championship. Ran is may be very popular, but he isn’t a superstar. Yet, he keeps evolving as an athlete. He has merely begun his professional career and even his international experience as 2021 is his first year representing Japan. If only he stays in Superlega, he can still grow more.
Rumor has it that he will leave italy and come back to japan just like Nishida, and unfortunately I think this will only cut short his career, the best athlete compete here in Italy or Poland so running away to a more comfortable league or way of playing it's not the best move I think
Cachopa is really becoming my favorite volleyball setter, look at how he still trusted Ran that 2 most important points into finals even though he got blocked on 13-14, he know Ran is capable to win that match point 🔥
That is a really good point! I noticed he didn't set a lot to Takahashi during a set but when it becomes a critical point he set it to him. Takahashi is trusted by him. Especially the last set
Ran is the best all around volleyball player ,he is not afraid of being block ,he never give up until he gets that point, in just three years in superlega Ran already playing for the finals,Ran really help Monza get into the final after 21 years, amazing Ran👍👍👍
2 years ago, this team put him to a libero and he was benched almost the rest of the season. Now he proves himself that he deserves his main position in the team.
8:19 The most satisfying Synchronised Attack ever!!! The way all the players rearrange themselves to do the attack after realising it was a free ball was the most satisfying thing everrrrrr replayed that part 100x 🔥🔥🔥 Haikyuu!! irl fr fr and Ran getting the final shot in and the opposing team’s blockers left completely stunned, clueless, and shocked is just too funny to watch and then their coach yelling at them after 🤭🤭🤭
Япония всегда в волейбол суперзвезда,молодцы,рост не для них,рост даже подходит им,пусть это защита или нападение,главное выносливость,умение сдерживать свои эмоции.ВСЕГДА БОЛЕЛА ЗА НИХ.
Haters: "They choose him because of his face" like wtf? Did that man use his face in hitting the ball?😂 Can u play high level volleyball if u are just "the face" Can superlega teams waste their money just for his face ? Such idiot and stupid haters.
Please try not to measure abilities of player to player to bring discourse to the team! Volleyball is a team sport. Yuki will always be their beloved and respected leader!
I am not a fan of Trento or Monza but i see the game and the big difference was Acquarone /Cachopa this time, with Sbertoli Trento is another level..... anyway Monza deserves a lot credits
I agree Sbertoli is a lot more skilled as a setter than Acquarone, I'm worried for Trentino in their upcoming chanpions league final, but let's not forget that in game 4 Trentino was really out of energy and losing their opposite mid game wasn't ideal. In a normal situation where Sbertoli wasn't injured and all the players in Trentino were in form, Monza wouldn't have a chance
