The biggest sexists to women are Disney themselves. They made Rey into a empty shell. A non-character who simply has power for no reason. She's just a puppet with ever changing motives and multiple backstories that make no sense. They destroy Luke to give her his story because they can't give her one of her own. It would have been all so easy if they just did Lucas' stories with his scavenger who revived Luke's spirits from his solitude at the first Jedi temple and then worked together as master and apprentice. It should have all been so easy.

Ray is so powerful that we don’t even need a new film about her so stunning and brave.

Lucasfilm under Kathleen Kennedy: never acknowledge that what we have done has been a failure. She was never a creative, and it's clear that no one she's hired honestly deserves that moniker either. And, I'm going to be honest, Taika Waititi is frankly overrated. He's not a one-trick pony but he's close. I'm glad these films aren't happening.

Remember how hyped we all were after Mando S2 ended and we received all of those future announcements? Kenobi and Book of Boba were trash, Mando S3 was unnecessary and destroyed the series imo, Ahsoka was dull, forgettable, and mid at best, Andor was good but 100% can’t carry the franchise, The Acolyte was an abomination, the Lando series and Carano’s series were both axed, and almost everything else has been cancelled or put on hold. The clowns at Disney and Lucasfilm finally had something special after Mando S2, and they just set everything on fire after. Besides Andor S2, I have no interest in any future releases. I would like to see them give Boba Fett aka Temuera a S2 with Tony Gilroy directing and in charge. A Boba series with the Andor grit and maturity would be incredible. Filoni is a fraud.

I feel that the latest Star Wars movies should’ve focused on,, how Luke Skywalker rebuilt the Jedi order. As well as Rebuilding of the Republic and the Jedi temples all over the galaxy. We should have seen the positive influence that the Republic has had throughout the galaxy. Over the years and downfall of the empire. As well as how the Jedi order and the Republic maintain peace & justice throughout the galaxy. The films could have focused on how Luke Skywalker found new force sensitive Younglings. Younglings from different parts of the galaxy. Luke Skywalker would train The Younglings to be Jedi,, & future leaders of the Jedi order. These films should’ve also focused on where Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando are. As well as R2-D2 and CP 30. In this future timeline,,, Luke Skywalker should be just as powerful as The great Yoda (as well as Darth Vader & Ray) was. Luke Skywalker should be the most powerful Jedi who ever lived. To the point to where he can feel and evil growing in the forest. Possibly even the empire rebuilding. But by who? Skywalker would either go himself or send some of his young Jedi,, to investigate. I think those ideas are much better than the films that we’ve got. The new films made it seem like the empire was never taken down. Watching these horrible films,, gave the impression that Luke skywalkers & the rest of the teams accomplished absolutely nothing. It would seem within these latest three films,, that The empire still had just as much power,, As they did in the first three original films,, released in the 70s. In these last three films, they made Luke skywalker look like a drooling Simp. And the rest of the classic crew,, incompetent. Which is so sad. From what I could tell, Star Wars is dead.

Honestly, whenever Lucasfilm announces a new film, I literally just LAUGH as I know it will be abandoned after just a few months. They have "cried wolf" so many times that no one takes their Film announcements seriously.

Something that bothered me about the Rey sequels (10-12) is that we all know it was just going to abridge what we know luke would have done in the original legends. Except "better" because it's Ray. The sequel trilogy was already a complete attempt at overwriting all the accomplishments Luke and the original cast had done for 4, 5, and 6. So having that be cemented further would have been pretty sad to see.

Finally somebody put an end to this craze named Star Wars - for 20 years from now will again be peace in the Galaxy as from Return of the Jedi to The Phantom Menace.

Rey is no Jedi. She should be dancing for a Hutt somewhere.

I definitely wouldn't go see he movie of Rey getting the story that Luke deserved. I think the only thing I WOULD be interested in is a complete retelling of 7-9 that did the characters justice. That will never happen. Star Wars is a dead franchise - it just doesn't know it yet.

The current employees of Disney Lucasfilm hate the Star Wars franchise altogether. So, they have no interest in learning what makes the franchise work.

A R rated Death Troopers horror movie directed by Neil Blomkamp would be cool and could theoretically be the Star Wars equivalent to Deadpool & Wolverine being the first R rated SW installment and if done correctly would be a profitable win potentially. But I doubt they allow it to happen. They gotta make SW for kids and market to them with toys that don’t sell and end up in landfills or Ollie’s.

I'm thinking of writing a parody script called Star Wars: Sisterrrss, starring Rey, Ashoka and Sabine bringing Awareness to the Galaxy. The 4th Sisterr is Bo Katan who wants to tag along on their adventures, but she can't because she doesn't "Jedi", and she's "just a Mandalorian", which she keeps trying to make a "thing". The Sisterrss decide to fix the planet Patriach, which has too many men trying to control everything by doing all the essential jobs. The girl travel to Patriach, and, after a few Girl Boss battles against weak, insignificant men, Bo asks how are we going to Save This Planet?!? (breaks 4th Wall). In unison, our loveable trio answer all at once, "By Spreading Awareness of Course", and break into a song called Awareness. Now, confident they are Living Their Best Lives, they head to the evil Communications Tower, called X, to spread the word to the rest of the Underprivileged women. They are met by Girl Boss Reva, who has sided with the Leaders of Patriarchy, but after a brief explanation of why they are Awesome, she decides to join, and jokes now they can be the Famous Five! Following another brief battle against the Weak Men, the Tower is deployed, and THE MESSAGE sent! The sisters across the planet rejoice, and the Galaxy is SAVED! THE END.

I genuinely feel bad for Daisy Ridley. I think that if she had been given a good script, and not pandered to the select few, I think she would have been one of peoples favorites. Give her a good backstory, make her struggle, and she could have been the Next Luke Skywalker. I have no problem with a female being a lead as long as she is represented well. Just like a man.

Transplant the final scene of Rogue One to the opening scene of Episode IV and confine every other piece of Disney Star Wars to Damnatio Memoria (obliterate it). That’s how You save SW. Willow it!

Star Wars is developing a mausoleum of cancelled projects.

The truth of the situation they fumbled this so badly that they don’t know where to go with it. I mean the easiest way to see that it was going to go horribly wrong was when they were making force awakens and they said they had no pre-existing material to work off of. And it shows how incompetent they are that they didn’t even have the vision to play off the company strengths. I mean it was all there just make a movie about Luke’s Jedi Academy have the cameo between Luke Leia and Han. And introduce the kids there’s your next generation you build off of it have the old actors pop in every now and then play off of Disney so called family leaning dynamic it wasn’t difficult that’s what is the unbelievable thing here they just had such a lack of creativity that they couldn’t bring it all together.

Think about the amount of content, jokes, and memes that could be made from this film. It would be a goldmine. The motherload. Watching this movie flop and seeing Disney take that big of an L would be the most amazing thing of all time.

They fly now because of her, somehow Palpatine return because of her, get all Jedi master abilities because of her, 80 pages of nostalgic fan service because of her, and Im so done with this star wars mary sue because her. Thank you Disney and KK for their incompetence in writing a main female character.

As a lifelong Star Wars fan and someone who is unapologetically woke and progressive, I am SO glad that these projects were cancelled and wish that the same had been done to The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker, Kenobi, Book of Bobba Fett, Asohka, and The Acolyte.

I have absolutely no problem with Daisy Ridley herself. I personally thought that the idea of Rey being Palpatines granddaughter gave the films a huge potential for a great story. Personally I would of liked to see her become the Empress of the Sith. Luke and company either rescue her from the dark side or destroy her.

She put Anakins soul down in sand. She killed Palpatin with lightnings. She took Falcon from Solo dead hands. And she gave Luke to drink green milk from alien boobs. The Chosen One.

I disagree that it is good that the Rey movie (probably) won't be made. I think we really needed to see a movie based on Kathleen Kennedy's crown jewel flop as hard as Solo. We already saw The Marvels kill the narrative that people ever loved Captain Marvel. And while a flop that hard is impossible for a Star Wars movie, The Rey Movie making $400 million when it needed to make $800 million to break even would have cleansed the world with fire.

A tale of Palpatine's last living relative being raised among Skywalkers and mentored by Luke is something that could have worked. But it didn't. And the Rey film couldn't have worked because the sequel trilogy failed. You don't screw with your foundations.

How does Kathleen Kennedy still have a job? What dirt does she have on the Disney Executives that keeps her employed? Does she have a chocolate fountain and a private brewery in her basement? It has to be that because nepotism and tenure can only take you so far.

Rey should have died at the end of the Rise of "Skywalker". If Ben Solo/Kylo Ren lives on, after witnessing her sacrifice, and struggling to live up to her example, then you've got a story. Now, you have nothing, but a hollow (and despised) character that no one has any interest in learning anything else about. We watched Luke grow and fail. We watched Anakin suffer horribly. We would tune in to see a talent actor (Adam Driver, obviously) struggle to redeem himself. We will NOT tune in to watch "The Adventures of Mary Sue Skywalker, Chapter 4", especially when it is directed by someone that hates men.

Nobody ever mentions Sharmeen's stupidest comment regarding Rey - "She's going to have an adventure at a jedi academy." Perhaps she doesn't know what "adventure" or "academy" means... 😂

Subverting fan expectations by undermining previous characters, the story, washing it down with two poorly written characters (Rey & Finns Journey) & mediocre fight scenes did nothing to make Star Wars endearing to older & newer fans. You had generations (Boomers, Gen X & Millennials) that badly wanted to share the experience that was Star Wars with new fans, only for modern Star Wars to be a huge disappointment.

Honestly I think Rogue Squadron would have potential if it could get the right director behind it, but they never seem to find the right ones.

I know it had a high chance of being woke, but I really would have loved to see a Rogue Squadron series. If the focused on the star ship fighting and kept the love stories to a minimum, it would have been such a cool series to watch, but who cares. Everything Star Wars now has to be full of diverse chicks that are lame and gay.
