Patagonia is a destination I would have never believed I had the skills for, I thought there was only back country. But this seems doable. Would have never researched before your videos. Wanted to tell you I enjoyed your podcast with Kyle; however, I feel there us so more more you could offer for listeners of any podcast. I read the Olean Times article about you and the book. Can't believe how close our hometowns were. I am older though.
Honestly there were a ton of newbie backpackers in Patagonia and I think the O Circuit would actually make an amazing first backpacking trip for someone! I don't think you need crazy backcountry skills by any means to do it. I think it would be an enjoyable trek for people of any level honestly. And thank you so much! Kyle likes to have a topic ready ahead of time for any podcast so he requested that we talk about the Yellow Deli/ 12 Tribes. :) Remind me where your hometown is?
Yes! In case we fell into a crevasse or something. But luckily all was well! By the way I saw the review that you left on Amazon for my book and I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! That was so very kind of you and I really really appreciate it!!
I hadn't heard about that so I Googled it and saw that Explorers, or Exploradores, glacier in Laguna San Rafael had a chunk fall off and is now closed to hikers, but that was back in the fall. (This is Grey Glacier in Torres del Paine). Did something happen more recently too?
