John Corabi is awesome first of all....Secondly...Doug Aldrich kicks ass and plays with raw emotion like I've never seen in any guitar player....Brian Tichy is quickly becoming my favorite drummer, and David Lowy is awesome. These guys opened for KISS last night. I have never heard of them before then. They opened the show with this song and let me tell you this video does not do them justice with the "in your chest thumping bass/ kick drum wall of sound I heard them play with last night. I have to admit I am a new fan. The lead singer reminds me of Rob Zombie, and has a very strong voice that clearly cut thru the wall of sound at the Nutter Center Arena. Unfortunately I thought they had to put up with some BS from some asshole fans that kept throwing what appears to be ping pong balls at them (hitting then several times). They were all truly professional and played thru it all including the semi-lackluster crowd participation.

Man, who knew the Tollcutter could sing !!!! (You need to see the original Mad Max movie to get the reference) :)

oh no it's one of those drummers that thinks he playing in the Muppets band.

FINALLY... SOME OUTSTANDING ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC IN TODAY'S WORLD...NONE OF THAT RAP CRAP SHIT MUSIC, WAIT...DID I ACTUALLY CALL IT MUSIC... I MUST APOLOGIZE THAT TO ALL ROCK AND ROLL VETERANS...

When you open your set, you need a killer track executed to 150% of your ability to have any chance of grabbing the audience attention and keeping them with you in anticipation of what's ahead. The song is a killer number, though did seem performed a tad pedestrian but maybe that's the band vibe before us, so fair enough. The vocalist has a cracking raw glass voice and should stop twirling his mic stand and doing that silly shuffle like he's been watching far too many Aerosmith clips or the like. Overall, got to say a big thank you for covering a fantastic song but just because you have all made a name for yourself and know your onions, no need for complacency ever nor thinking a touch of jet lag is an excuse. Just saying...

Doug is good but I liked the other guitar player more. I thought he played with more soul, imo..
