Dead Island 2 is a 2023 action role-playing game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. It is a sequel to the 2011 video game Dead Island and the third major installment in the Dead Island series. Set about 17 years after the events of Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide, Dead Island 2 differentiates itself from its predecessors by taking place in the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco, which have been quarantined due to a zombie outbreak. The game was released on April 21, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

It is like the opposite of what I do in a lot of games. I find I can paint the walls with blood and promptly start smearing blood everywhere... only to find that the wall can only contain a limited amount of blood and it vanishes after a while. Sad times.

I use a lot of stamina so her stamina being so high is nice I never really noticed the health she has like i knew it wasn’t the best but it makes up with stamina oh and I love her accent it adds onto her already interesting character

Using the elements as your main weapon is totally something I'd do too. If games have that then I will use the shit out of it. It's so much more fun because it's either really inconvenient or really really helpful. And I love it when games acknowledge that and even reward their players for that with game mechanics that support this playstile.

The first dead island game gave me so much trauma. I can remember being trapped in a grassy area, unable to see the zombies but hearing the gurgling roaring in the distance. I turned it off and never played it again.

When the first dead Island came out I spent a solid 5 days playing, sleeping less then 4 hours a night... For the following 2 weeks, where I did sleep, I experienced the most intense zombie themed introspective nightmares you could imagine... every single night lol. Good times.

Reminds me of a glitch I experienced in that 'Zombies, Run!' exercise app. The idea was that it would play zombie sounds occasionally to motivate your jog or run, but mine glitched and the "sprint, they're right behind you!" section lasted indefinitely. I ran until I vomited and then uninstalled the app 😂

Definitely for all the right reasons I think. They definitely went into making this game to not be taken serious at all, with all the comedic dialogue and points in the story being just wild. Its also taking place in Cali, so they got all of the typical Cali resident stereotypes pretty accurate too lol.

This is literally the first game in YEARS that I played on PC that wasn't riddled with bugs and crashes. I crashed 1 single time in my almost 100hr's I put in on it and the only bug I encountered was zombies getting stuck on items and that felt rare. Props to them for dropping a full, working game on release and not just a beta that needs months of patches to fix.

I love the fact that without the first opening cutscene with all the characters boarding the plane, you dont even realize that Ryan is in fact a stripper, not an actual firefighter. The funnier part is, I don't think Kevin caught onto that either.

My only problem with dead island 2 is they gate the dlc content behind time gates if you buy the upper 2 editions, even the weapons and character skins won't be accessible for a few months EVEN THOUGH they are already "playable" from your game add-ons. Which means they are already in the game, and they are forcing us to wait to drag on the games lifespan😊

The burning mountain at the end ofthe video reminded me of the time I lived in Palmdale, on the other side of those burning mountains from where the game place takes, I was driving to work at about 2 am and just looked up in awe as a wildfire was turning the mountain far ahead of my into a giant pyramid of fire.
