They took the sound of this to a whole new level than their previous work. Don't get me wrong, Caleb did a hell of a job on their previous music but I like this style a lot more. I'm not sure who did the production but I really dig it. Guitar tone is SICK! The chorus is very good too... Sounds like the drums are in a dome at times (could just be youtube quality) but either way I still dig it!

That's because the EP was home produced. Caleb isn't a record label. If you look who posted this, it appears TDR were signed. Most bands sound better when going from home studio to professional studio quality. I think Craig's cleans sounded better and less cleaned up in the home version but they boosted his uncleans to a great level.

Nick Mason Yeah, the EP was home produced by Caleb. Like, it wasn't done in a professional recording studio, just a small kind of home studio set-up. But this album is going to be pro-studio quality so it'll sound more like how ETF's music is quality wise, rather than raw demos.

I kind of hope (though I doubt) that the album is mostly uncleans. Craig used to be a phenomenal clean vocalist but lately he's just ehh. However, his screams and growls are still top notch and I think he should utilize them more. Especially in ETF. If ETF manages to stay afloat at this point, going a heavier route would do them well.

Funny that I think the total opposite. I'm a die hard mabbitt fan and have been since blessthefall and I think his screams have lost their appeal.. Mainly talking about his high screams.. Granted they are still good. No where near what they used to be. And I also don't think his singing has lessened either I think he's just as good a singer these days. Just in different ways. With all that said I'm definitely more a btf era fan than nowadays
