I found “in hell I’ll be in company” one day while at work. I played it over and over again for weeks on end. It got to the point where clients would request it. A few months of this go by, and my colleagues pitch in and buy me a banjo for my 50th birthday. Now I’m learning to play. Thank you for the inspiration. And thank you for the Tab. I will start practicing immediately.

In recent news, music stores are upping the prices of banjos due to a sudden shortage.

My banjo teacher made up the tab for me on this. I tried playing it for a year. It's absolutely not even close to the real tab that's on here. I feel duped! I stopped playing banjo recently and the only song I missed playing was this one!

Thank you for sharing Colton, you are the person that inspired me to purchase & learn the Banjo - after a brief dable with clawhammer I decided to concentrate on three finger Scruggs style as this suits me better - I have to say that I'm both impressed & amazed that you're playing this with a pick, your skill level is off the charts.

Hey: does anyone else struggle to press down both the 2nd and 3rd strings on the third fret with one finger as it appears Colton is doing in the video? I 'm new to banjo and am wondering if there are any tips/tricks towards getting this because I'm assuming this is essential to working this up to speed. Thanks!

Has anyone mastered this with three-finger style? The only concern would be the // fast parts. That would have to be the thumb pick and not so sure one could do it as fast as a flat pick. Never tried to play with just a flat pick. Anyone know if Bela Fleck plays some of his stuff with a flat pick? TIA

Can’t learn it. Normally i play piano but a few weeks ago I bought a banjo. Yesterday I tried it but my fingers are too big☹️ I really want to play like Colton but I can’t. Now i keep playing piano, that’s what I can play
