Every house move is a new tax write off as well along with a new 2 door fridge with built in ice maker and door mounted water dispenser and a pull out drawer for quick access snacks and drinks
The strat for that turn is to do a huge brake tap and release before you start accelerating into the turn, instead of releasing after you start the ice slide which slides out every time. It's risky but more consistent and much faster. If you don't know these advanced strats then ice is going to feel bad to drive
Well still relatively new to Trackmania, like 3rd week actively playing the game. I feel quite confident starting this map not knowing ice and struggling on a corner that Wirtual also struggled also. Still aiming to improve a lot, as I don't even have the silver yet, haha
I had so much trouble even getting silver on this because I kept sliding out. Glad I wasn't alone in that type of problem. Two weeks into TM and enjoying it but man grinding ice is frustrating lol.
I've been playing tm on and off since eswc, this COTD was the first one I got top 1k in cotd and leaderboard for years. The usual cotds ate mostly grass or plastic with tech sometimes, this one was different. Not the greatest map due to very inconsistent start and possible slideouts, but at least it's not speed tech again
still hoping for a "wirtual re-drives every cup of the day map" of the game stream/supercut. seeing how good or bad some maps aged. which are the worst, which are so great, they could be reused/remade. which are blatantly impossible now due to all the physics changes over the years....
I'm a trackmania beginner very blueberry as you'd call it in another video. I'm struggling with consistency, a "good" lap requires a hundred resets. Do you have any tips on how to actually consistently finish tracks with a decent time?
Be attentive with your inputs and maybe install some kind of an input visualiser like wirtual has in the bottom left corner. Also and don't go in and do hard maps first thimg
man, the title and thumbnail got me curious about that supposedly deadly turn but the way this is edited we only see one instance of it and a mention. Good video but I feel baited.
I know there's a 0% chance that Wirtual actually reads this but in case you do: Didn't you buy a house only a few years back? How comes you have moved again? I am just curious, not judging or anything.
Fortunately, the physics are not random. Releasing in an overslide is a main cause of slideouts, you can release before the car goes into an overslide (what Teuflum does on the old wr that Wirtual shows), but if you do a release mid overslide you will slide out. But like most things, the more you play a style, the more consistent and the more knowledgeable you become :D
@@DarkLight203TM sure, maybe it's not technically random, and people can learn ways to drive to the physics. the problem i have with it though is that the way the car slides out doesn't have much to do with the momentum you're carrying, or the grip level. it feels really unnatural to just have the car give up on the corner completely rather than still have at least some grip, like it would if you were sliding on another surface
