Hello, This dam stops 2 reclamation canals. You can see it in drone view. Also this affects the fields, so it would damage the various cultures of grains. If you want to support my channel do it here: www.paypal.com...
funny thing is...people who's fields are there had no problem with that dam...because if they did they would remove it themselves......yet for some strange reason you think that you have right to do that....go and use some 2by4 please
Why don’t you just incorporate the beavers into your irrigation plan. They are building water storage for you FOR FREE. Add some pipes that will let you CONTROL the flow.
Agree Post 10 is getting too talkative and everyone is “an idiot”. This channel is much more relaxing. You go Mantas love your humble way of doing things.
Great to see you doing the best thing of all, which is treading back and forth, releasing the mud with your boots and allowing the current to erode it away. As you know sticks are only the top of the dam, the beavers make the core out of mud and stones.
Suggestion, if you swivel your camera between upstream and downstream, keep upstream steady for eight seconds before turning downstream. It makes your clips more professional
Just imagine you worked hard in summer to prepare a shelter to stay warm and safe in chilling sub-zero temperature of winter, planning to raise your children in there, and then just when winters start someone comes and destroy your shelter 😕 Humans are more privileged than measley beavers? 😑 Perhaps start of winter is not good time to destroy shelters, it is time to give gifts and spread warmth.
Beavers stop the water flow OVER the dam b/c of the sound it makes. Noise inspires them to build taller. When an underwater pipe is installed, it keeps water flowing and them happy.
@@CATAZTR0PHE and how to install a pipe with enough flow capacity to empty the dam without destroy it allowing the beavers to come back and clog the pipe? It's not an easy problem to solve...
Greetings from the BIG SKY of Montana. I see, said the blind man. Lithuania needs to implement a water rodent element to the water policy. Storm clouds in the distance say rain to me.
If all that flood water is caused by the beaver “ WHY” doesn’t the land owner do what you are doing ,after all it would be much easier for him to clear the ditch because more than likely he would have a machine, but then again he maybe thinking ,” if I wait a while the guy with the long yellow rake will come along and do it for me ,pour me another coffee mother 🇬🇧
Great job. Looks like more rain to come. Sometimes you worry me standing in front of a dam like that. I'd hate for it to carry you away. Once again the farmers are indebted to you. Bet it's back in a day or two. Maybe they could give up. Lol. 👍👍👍👍😊🌟😉😊
I learned the hard way to watch what you grab. I tore out a beaver dam and grabbed a crabapple branch. I snapped one of the thorns off in the meat of my hand and had to have a doctor cut it out.
A rake that goes deeper in will not help. The branches are intertwined, and you can't pull up a large clump of them. Have you noticed how he has to really tug on some longer branches? And sometimes has to leave it until he has made more headway on surrounding branches?
you should have cleaned out where you were standing, there was still water not moving right beside you. if you clear out that mass of sticks and mud it would have drained faster
I do wish you would use your pickaxe. It would make a big difference. It might be heavy but if you'd use the side that isn't pointed, it would take bigger bites out of the debris.
I was thinking the same thing. Once he removed all the sticks and wood it seemed like an awful lot of effort was needed with the rake. I would think using the pickaxe to loosen things up and then raking would make things easier. It would also help in getting all the way down. I've noticed the dams removals still tend to leave the upstream side higher than downstream which means there is more that could be removed.
I have watched many of your videos. It iis good that you give of your time to help others. But I always wonder if anyone does something about the beavers. If they are not controlled, they just build it back.
