My sister is a teacher of special children and her major is sign language and im telling you im so jealous she can do the sign language!! I tried but i find it so difficult.

I love sign language it just shows that no one is perfect no one can be perfect kids at my school are deaf and it just hurts because they don’t understand what people are saying because their death so I am one of the people that help and can be there for them and you guys just encourage me so much thank you

I was taught BSL from the age of 4 because I went to a school for the hearing and deaf. It was an amazing community and I loved it so much but then i moved when I was 9 and i found some of my best friends again after 4 long years! Even now I use some of my signing skills to my deaf friends or even some of my hearing ones, I have also taught some of my new friends some as I’m now 13 and when I’m on FaceTime to some of my deaf friends me newer friends join in on what they can .Honestly all I want to say is sign language is an amazing language it’s beautiful , peaceful and very inspiring. Really all I want to say is if you want to achieve something believe in yourself and you WILL achieve it no matter what

I feel deaftones are the most,touching,beautiful and The best choir in the world! There is probably a meaning, if you or someone you know have hard hearing, feel them, feel yourself, help them don’t stand there.They are doing this just to make deaf people comfortable, normal and more confident(not to feel having to keep a secret about u being deaf ) If anyone is bullying that poor girl/boy stand up for them If you are bullying them STOP or it’ll come back to you someday

That was fantastic!!. I am blown away!!. They are absolutely wonderful and extremely talented!!. It just goes to prove that all people, regardless of what disability they may or may not have, that we are all created unique and equal in the eyes of God, and that each of us are talented and gifted in our own unique way!!. The term "Disabled" should be considered "Differently Abled"!!.

I grew up in the deaf and hearing culture among other cultures. Mom deaf and speaks well for a deaf woman Dad hearing I was born hearing and now have hearing loss. I remain fluent in American Sign Language. Glad to see deaf people from all over the world coming out and doing whatever their heart tells them. And Not letting society holding them back cause they are deaf Me I am what you would call a CODA in the deaf Culture Child Of Deaf Adult

Let’s be real if the younger girl was just singing I think it would be better. The 2 voices didn’t mix well together, the performance was great though! Made me very emotional

Truthfully, I didn't think the singing was that good. Maybe the voices just didn't go together well or something. Doesn't take away how good of a cause this is, and how different and cute it was.

I cried so much! Their voices and gestures plus their attitudes are so amazing. This is not just very common rather a rare talent that we really need to be proud of and to show to the world so that people will testify these girls talents and other deaf fellas who can sing well like them.

Beautiful! I wish there were guys in the group too! Maybe in the future. The teacher/conductor is a rare gem too! I live in a Senior high-rise bldg and a man I see often hanging out in front of the building is deaf and can't speak. I taught myself the sign language alphabet, which doesn't take long to learn, and anticipated trying it out. He understood me, but I realized signing just letters to make words is very cumbersome for them. It's funny as I was nervous when I tried, but he understood me. I was kind of embarrassed as I really only took a lot of time to get my name, where I'm from... etc across. To really know sign and the gestures that make leaps in communication is a remarkable talent. Several years before, back when I owned a car, another man who was in the same condition in my Senior building I helped and took to ER and stayed with him until he was released many times as he had no family near. I was present when professional sign people came to communicate very important medical decisions and diagnoses and was very impressive to see, yet sad too, as his condition kept declining. He died and was only 47. I still have the little pocket notebooks we would write on to communicate. This choir is very talented and beyond me to imagine how they performed like they did and created music most of them could not hear!

I'm not deaf, but I know ASL. I had a friend, a best friend. He was deaf-mute. I was 9 or 10 back then, and he was the only person I hung out with and trusted. Even though he was unable to hear, he was still bullied and hated. After like 3 years, He passed away, and I found it hard to talk. I didnt talk for months. I wanted people to know that deaf and mute people can have feelings too. ...well it didnt help much, but at least some of the people learned what respect and love means.

I know I feel like a pretty good portion of American sign language and my eyes kept veering to the people who were signing and my kept trying to recognize the signs even though it is a completely different language

This is so inspirational. These girls that can't hear still do their very best to sing the song and it was beautiful. This is why I am always so glad that I have been blessed with the ability to see, hear, talk, etc. Theses girls are going places and I wish them the best of luck in their journey.

I'm sorry, but this was frustrating to watch. No interpreter for the folks who are Deaf. The camera work was hearing centered. There is no captioning. I know they meant well, but they got it wrong.
