Almost pulled the trigger on a 2022 M340i, but stayed with my Q50 Redsport. Have had 3 and no complaints with Infiniti dealer or vehicle! No issues with warranty coverage, even with full bolt-ons. They even go as far as helping me swap mods over to new vehicle.
@@MotorenWerkeN52 lol, what a sad world we're in when a reply like that gets highlighted. Anti-consumer consumer = brainwashed. Work hard and get whatever you want, no one's stopping you.
@@MotorenWerkeN52 Poor business strategy putting customer service above and beyond? The service from Infiniti has made me looking for an excuse to get another one. Bmw service and reliability has made me looking for ANY excuse to not get one again.
Just took delivery of a 2022 m340 last month, mine also was stuck at the port because of the RAM. They didn't give me an ETA, but they said cars that are already accounted for are first in line (not sure if this is correct or not, but for me it turned out to be). For me, it was stuck at the port for about a week. Hopefully yours is done quick too!
6:35 is exactly why i understand when people get shot in roadrage incidents. why would they cut over to block you off. that's not even legal lmao, if you hit them THEY are at fault for attempting to use their vehicle as a barricade, and causing an accident.
Same thing happened to me with the mods. My M4 was at the B-More port for a whole extra month. Got there on January 11 and was just released February 15th. Your car sounds like it was on the same boat as mine.
That sucks, hope everything works out for you. I drove an M340 back in 2019, it’s beautiful and very nimble. Question for you…Fast forward to 2022 I need a sedan little bigger than the M340 since I have a family. I test drove the M550, what are your thoughts on it? I just custom ordered one should be here in June. I heard the previous ones before the lci had some engine issues. I test drove it without DHP, but definitely noticed there was some bodyroll cornering. Unfortunately due to the shortage of cars no one had one with DHP to drive. Long story short after watching many reviews I bit the bullet and ordered it with DHP hopefully it helps with cornering and makes the vehicle feel smaller…
DHP makes the drive experience night and day on the M550. I felt it when I test drove and made me get adaptive suspension when I bought my M440. I’m positive you’ll enjoy the drive more
I had same issues on my 2016 f80 when I installed my HR spring I went and double check the connector on top of the strut it has two little teeth that plugs in the strut. It fixed my issue double check those connection.
Been running HR springs for over 1.5 years on my F80 and no issues. Guess my install was solid lol I made sure to connect the edc connections and ABS/ ride height back
@@Slowspeed what about all the other people needing to get somewhere. People like you are the cause of road rage and don’t deserve to hold a license hopefully you’ll be caught soon.
I agree, many people get the higher model for the looks and I don’t knock it, but I need a reminder from time to time why this cost more than a 330i lol
@@Slowspeed exactly lmao. if i didnt wanna beat on a fast car id just put bumpers on a base model. 200 on the dash ima use it. 500+hp ima use every one of em lmao.
This is exactly why I stopped touching the suspension on cars. Its just not worth the hassle of dealing with dealerships. At least with other mods like exhaust or rims you can take it off easier. Plus when you start buying higher end sports cars they usually start to sit correct from factory.
Yeah my modding days are over, when my crankshaft went on my car which I believe happened due to my exhaust modifications also flashing the engine multiple times, it caused the dealer to not even look at the car but I kept all the original parts & restored it back so then they replaced the whole engine for $7700. Thank God it was still under the 70,000 mile warranty
Running HR springs on my f80 with edc so I still have functionality of that for over 1.5 years now, no issues. Installed myself, so I know everything was done correctly. Can’t rely on other people most of the time lol or you end up like this
hey i do have a question, i just recently got a 2020 m340 and i really want to mod the car. however, worried about warranty and resale value. i saw you recently got rid of your car, did you lose value on resale?? please and thank you. done a ton of research, but not too much info.
I’m not sure if you have solved the chassis error yet, but it is related to the ride height sensors not being properly fitted on the lower control arms. If you have been driving in snow/ice, it is possible the ride height sensors were damaged, or just came off the control arms. Have this checked by a shop. Tell them exactly this. Goodluck man! Edit: I had this exact problem after taking my car on a trip out to Quebec and back to Toronto. Every 5 minutes it comes up. I had to drive the whole way back with this code. Fixed the ride height sensors and it never came back again.
I was going to say that the error message and and the clunking are probably two separate issues. I don't see any reason to be mad at the dealer. I'm sure they provided you with a loaner and they diagnosed your car for free. On the other hand, I don't see why they don't replace the control arm under warranty. The tech makes money, the dealer gets paid by BMW, and they get a better trade in.
@@ladin425 The stealership is always going to save every cent and make more money.. They don't count on the trade-ins. Can't blame them really, as sad as it is, it will always be pay to play
Yoo doubt you’ll respond but was looking to buy a 2020 m340i as well but was wondering about servicing it. Is it extremely pricey ? Also how many miles u copped yours for and price
@@Slowspeed Honestly the car should be able to withstand all that for at least the warranty period.. the suspension shouldnt (and most likely didnt) get destroyed by doing a bunch of donuts or pushing it hard for a year.
I think they are dope cars!! Looks wise I’m a fan of the front but not the rear, looks alittle soft. Obviously it’s a beast power wise and interiors nice and modern. Now price is high for me personally. I’d just get a bigger car for alittle more.
I hope he didnt :D extended warranty is pretty much a scam.. and especially if you plan on modifying the car since the warranty will expire the moment you do something even mild to it.
