@@honkfoot1140 I think I'd put Migrant above Color Spectrum. Color Spectrum is really neat as a concept but I find I don't love all the songs. Migrant is just solid from start to finish. I also used to think I liked Act I the least but after listening to IV and V more recently than the others, coming back to I is like a breath of fresh, raw, emotional air. I feel like I have a stronger appreciation for the whole series now.
Deloused was 2003. You can really tell act 1 and this were influenced by it too. The mars voltas other albums around this time are really good too, though

I cannot wait til music like this is on the radio. Not because they have sold out and become mainstream. But because the meaning of "mainstream music" will have transformed from Nicki Minaj and Justin Beiber to true art once again
That ain't happening. There's s been a mild resurgence in artsy pop music but the entire music scene has splintered off so much theres not much of a centralized musical mainstream aside from what top 40 radio and online music critics push.
