The Dear Hunter - Full band performance of The Inquiry of Ms Terri from the Act I Livestream. Full set available as a replay exclusively on Pillar! Head to tdh.pillar.club for the full set!
can't understand yet why are they so underrated. they should be top 10 in every rock music chart. can't be THIS clean and have under 1M views.. what's happening to the world? :'(
There is a problem, and has been for decades in the music "industry" worldwide. Everything has always been a business transaction, but no money to move that around. and THAT is why all these people are suddenly appearing after 18 years. I know what you mean.
This band, just wow... talented, powerful but so, so, SO underrated! They're headed to Boston this November and the ticket cartels haven't yet jacked up this band's shows. For my wallet, that's great, I can afford to see them live, however that being said, I wouldn't mind paying more to see them like the bigger acts out there because they'd be worth it in my eyes.
These live performances of Acts I and II are easily some of the best live performances I've seen. If I were in some limbo space where time weren't a thing I had to worry about, I would have them constantly on loop.
Man this song just became next level, with this performance combined with me finally learning the lyrics to 3:36 and the connecting the meaning behind it. The Procession really hits harder now. This may be my favourite version of the song now.
Man, I wish they could find the time to do the rest of the Acts live like this. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing them live in concert, but in this custom sound stage with the song arrangements built around the stage just hits differently.
Such quissential music... I love it from the viewpoint of an experienced classical musician, a blues musician, and just the Emperior soul. Love all of it. BRILLIANT.
I'm still unsure I really like the whole Pillar system, but during this pandemic I subscribed to TDH on their platform and I just can't get enough of these 2 concerts they've provided us. So even if Pillar still has some ways to go, I hope that they as well as bands and fans can profit from it. The only time I messaged someone from the team to report a problem on the site I was replied to very quickly and thanked for it. If you are like me and unsure as to what to think of the subscription aspect (or the ticket), just know that I think that the content TDH put out is well worth it so far. Act 1 and 2 were just incredible. I just hope that TDH find the will and the financial incentive to livestream the other Acts. If we could have all of them at this quality...a man can dream. It is just a shame that this vid is 720p max (at least here in France) when I know that the stream and the live/vod on Pillar are above that, but it is a nitpick. Keep it up guys.
This is horrendously, insanely, criminally underrated. How the fuck are you gonna have a band, a song, a performance like this on 462 views? I will never understand some of the shit in this world.
Love this performance!! I've followed them for some time now but I just realised recently how good this song is. But the performance... stunning. Props to them~ 😍🤘 PS The piano part just makes my classical pianist self so excited arghhh. Actually it reminds me of some classical piece but i cant put my finger on it.
If I had a nickle for each time a big, white man with a beard made music I love I wouldn't care, because music comes in all shapes, colours, genders. Enjoy!
It is on the Pillar platform, though it is behind a paywall. TDH played the entirety of Act 1 and 2 and these concerts were beyond my expectations (unfortunately I never had the chance to see TDH live before). Just the two concerts are waaaaay, way worth paying 9$ to be able to watch them for an entire month, and there is a lot of content TDH has uploaded, old vids, behind the scenes, a lot of content to geek out on. But yeah, those two acts were incredible, I can't get enough of them. Also, the quality of this vid was butchered on youtube, it doesn't represent what you'll find on the site.
This is the best I've ever heard this band sound live, I thought they sounded somewhat mediocre before (even though I absolutely adore the studio albums) and this blew me away, too bad it's paywall'd behind a shitty monthly subscription, absolute rip-off if you ask me.
