Him asking that question really made me question if his character was remotely human, or just guised as one. Because he seemed to fully grasp plenty of other human things just fine, but *the food*. Definitely would like more of this, where we get a better glimpse into what exactly the Death Audit is and who(or what) the workers are and what they're like.

This was fan-fucking-tastic. The pacing, the idea a semi dystopian society where one can only die when given permission, the simple sets all meshed well and Grant and Pamela played well off of each other. Grants character was a treat, and Pamela gave a wonderful performance as well. This was a great idea executed very well. I look forward to more from you guys!

Okay, so I'm rewatching this because it's amazing, but I just caught something. When he's observing the lemon squares, the woman says, "Traditionally, they're eaten," and she's quickly interrupted when he asks "Why?" I initially thought it was just him being silly, but she then seems uncertain on how to answer him, as though suddenly wondering, "Actually, why indeed ARE they eaten?" It raises the question about the necessity of food in their world. I said it in my initial comment and I'll say it again, I would really love for an expansion on this world!
