Things are not like that in the novel the siege of Vraks, a commissar had to shoot a wounded troopers because the other wanted to help him instead of charging. A colonel ordered a withdraw in front of a demonic invasion etc. Fluff wise they are no longer the war machine they used to be.

The Death Korps do retreat. They do break morale and hoof it. In the series of books wherein the Krieg were fleshed out, they break and run many times.
Does the korp have their version of a blitzkrieg ive only ever heard or seen it written that the kriegs are attritional forces there to bleed the enermy dry surely they are not so singular so black and white in matters of warfare
