On one hand, there's no way Waller doesn't have bullet proof windows in every building she's in. On the other, there's no way deadshot doesn't have rounds that simply don't care. Bang indeed.
I read this as Batman officially giving Waller that card, and Deadshot not actually pulling the trigger (he's sworn to never kill in the presence of his daughter and Waller's around for the sequel) tells her that she's officially on his list of targets.
The one time when Batman decided to let a villain kill someone and not do anything about it, but given that this is Waller we're talking about, she had it coming.
Well I wish it was so I am fairly certain that Amanda Waller was not killed we never hear the sound of a gunshot and he just says the word Bang what Floyd was doing was a display of power to show Amanda that she's not invincible

@@devindietz7798 make a long story short the fat lady in the chair is a powerful corrupt member of the government who used a bunch of incarcerated criminals with explosives in their heads divorce them to do something for her and the whole thing turned out to be a trick. Batman is trying to stop her before she gets herself killed she blows off his warning and he leaves. one of the criminals a master Marksman bunkers on top of a roof and the group leader whose intelligent enough to realize killing her would ruin his chance of Freedom putting the fear of knowing that he could have killed her into Amanda will hopefully have her leave him alone
Going through ALL THAT just to kill one guy, FAIL at killing that one guy, but having the ability to sweep it all under the rug and calling it "Checkmate", Is kind of like attempting a back flip, landing on your nose, luckily not breaking any bones and saying you nailed it.

Arkham batman specifically jumped off a building to save Joker when he had nothing to with his death and of course would have gave him the cure. He saved freeze from penguin, brought bane back from death, saved black mask from torture (to do it himself lol) and im sure many more. Nolan's "I dont have to save you" is not something batman believes truly
I think waller actually bested bruce here as she's known to do sometimes. It's not in character to make death threats. If he had the slightest clue deadshot wanted her dead (and her windows were't bulletproof) he would tell her to stay low until he can catch floyd. It's not like waller is even evil she's as much a good guy as a azrael or red hood

I feel like the Cancer thing is a MUCH better death for Waller, not only cause it’s way more painful, but also, it would thematically fit her, Waller is supposed to be untouchable, and even in death, no one was able to lay a finger on her.
Most would say this is out of character, and it is, but Waller is truly a monster. The Joker is clinically insane, The Riddler wants to be admired, Bane had it pretty damn rough. Not Waller, Waller had a fine life, shes completely lucid, nothing wrong upstairs, all that evil is front and center and she has no problems with it.
Actually in the comics I think her family were killed which is why she is the way she is but I agree, she’s perfectly sane and in complete control of her actions so not really any excuse

She survived the assassination attempt. It was actually revealed in the mobile game Arkham Underworld that Batman attacked Deadshot before he could land a shot.
Waller didn't realize she'd over played her self. Bats was sick of her bs. He wasn't going to kill her, but he wasn't going to save her. Which if you think about it, says a lot. About how corrupt and messed up Waller is. She fully believes that she's above every law.

Two Face: Flip coin which says death and shoot her 3. Bane: Give her a knuckle sandwich 4. Poison Ivy: Poisonous kiss on her and squeeze her with plant. 5. In the events of Batman Arkham origins Blackgate Catwoman worked for Waller And was part of the team before just as she in the events recruited White Tiger,Killer Croc and Deathstroke But unfortunately they didn't appear in this film and weren't part of the team, maybe they left and managed to escape

When you find out waller did all this and made all of this happens as a means of coping with her families death it makes you hate her more. Shes literally just using villians to take her anger out of the world for "the right reasons"

Fun fact: we actually see this version of Amanda Waller in Season 2 of Suicide Squad kills the Justice League though in Mrs Freeze’s flashback cutscene
The only place it could be canon is the Arkham universe, since that's the version of Batman used and it's made by the same people. But that's still enough to piss people off even without it being confirmed canon
Best i can give you is the Isekai Version, where she is just overweight instead of obese. And she can dance there, sooooo more fit than other Versions of her.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but the original DC Superhero Girls (where they all attended a high school specifically for being superheroes) is the only one that comes to mind where she isn't an absolute land whale
So disappointing how they portrayed Wallers character here. She was sloppy, arrogant, and reckless. The Waller from the cartoon series was the best. Cool, calculating, pragmatic.
In the comics, Waller ran 'Checkmate' after her stint in Metahuman Affairs. The organization had the "pawns" working for Castle Moving while gathering intelligence. Knights were the agents who made things happen while reporting to the two Bishops. Waller was undisputed Queen. Funny thing was she thought she had an eye on the whole Board but unexpected things kept happening.
She survives to batman beyond, wheres shes less scummy and talks to the new batman after he asks how he's related to bruce wayne. As for the other varients, it does feel like all of the ones outside jlu have balance and meglomania issues.

The best part about this is that if it were anyone else, she wouldn't be worried in the slightest. But the second she saw the dot lining up- She KNEW her life was forfit. Deadshot saying "bang" was just the proof.

King shark in ssktjl is his son and Waller at the end of her supposedly death Batman stepped in and stopped dead shot before he assassinated her it’s revealed in a mobile game connected but it was shut down since 2017
Really don't think Batman knew Deadshot was there, but he was definitely warning Waller about the suicide squad, not himself. He absolutely knew they wouldn't take that shit lying down, even if he didn't know how or when they would take their revenge.
As for people that may think that he didn't kill Waller because the shot is not heard, and that the daughter was there, I think the dauhter was there precisely to show he did shot. He had the daughter look away, playing with her teddy bear, so she wouldn't see. She had her eyes closed, as if Deadshot specifically asked her to close them to not see. And most important, se appeared to have noise-suppressing headphones reproducing music, since they were connected to some sort of phone or MP5 or whatever she ahd in her hip. This last one is specifically so she wouldn't hear the bang. Deadshot saying "Bang" rather than we hearing the bullet was probably a stylistic choice. But well, this is just my opinion.
When she was first introduced in the comics, Amanda Waller was ruthless but hated wasteful government spending, especially with her Suicide Squad's lives. Sad to see that trait get lost by the wayside because too many creatives thought Watchman and The Authority were "really cool" but didn't understand the really basic bitch nuance of either.
Out of all the villains in this universe, Waller is the one I hate the most. A villain is a villain, but a corrupt governmental figure is a different story.
Never got why someone would advertise to their target like that other than to make em sweat. Plenty of red dot scopes, they are just as accurate as a laser point and don't mark the target.
