Remembering my first Lover in those days watching Kuch kuch hota hai and we were cryn out looking each other's face😢❤😊 those memories never ending.. evergreen ❤❤😊
You are wrong. There are cinema halls in mokokchung. Cosmos and Easter cinema halls Perhaps one of the oldest in Nagaland. Don't know tho whether they are up running now
Latika cinema hall was one of the best now turned into st marry school's Assembly hall. The very ist movie as a kid i have seen was Mohra stil remember how people were whistling and hooting at the entry of Akshay kumar as well as on the song tu chiz badi mast mast and tip tip barsa pani
Never have been but most elders and parents would often talk about it...and u know Phool aur Kantee film has go so much hit and ruled for six months in Dimapur conema hall
I went with my father to cinema hall and saw wrestling in colour TV back in 1996 in Mon😅 ...and when it ended , found my school teacher too...embarrassing moment for him
Since Netflix and Amazon prime began popular, theatres in america is also loosing audiences, where as younger generations prefer staring at their phones( the covid period is an example) . Cinemas may not be popular in the coming decades.
Leera here in Mon they used to pin the blue film poster 😊directly on outside of the board 😂and most of us can't enter due to money so we used to peep 🤣🤣🤣since the wall was made of bamboo 🤣
Use to watched hindi films in Mokokchungs cosmos hall and eastern hall with third class seat tickets ( directly below the giant screen on the floor😂)sitting beside modias (coolies) late 80s and early 90s....really miss those days❤
@@Mikekl5778 Huh moi are just joking + funnied deh...😁😬! Moijun like a Chüchie Kumar aru Excellent Sami Kapoor nowadays from United States Of Nagaland LoL 😆😂🤣😛😜.
One correction this is not the only cinema hall built in 80s. We have one cinema hall built by indira gandhi here at kezoma urban town 25 kilometre away from kohima
Its not because of the Digital inception in our state but its becuase of the hypocracy of the different CSO's n churches "Nagaland for Christ". Some group of of people even tried to banned the Assam Rifles Cinema hall in kohima...etc etc.
My first exposure to female nudity on screen was at la Paloma hall. Went for the evening show with aunty, uncle and cousin sister. Film was called avenging angel, and the heroine’s shower scene showed her front side in all its glory. No regrets
I Heard that there are so many BOC (fuel outlets)sealed in dimapur for selling adulterated fuel in Dimapur specially around dimapur 2 constituencies. Its been closed for more than 3 months .Please expose it . Some BOC is making excuses of renovation and some say machine biya asay.
My Dad was one of the local gangster. there were fights between local tribal gangs every season that's y they closed it...there were no serious murder's 😅 just manly fights.
Back in 90's I only know the Posters out side cenima halls in the black board will mostly be War movies but when we get inside we watch Blue Film,IYKYK!!!😂😅🤣
Leera but here in Mon they used to pin the blue film directly on outside of the board 😂and most of us can't enter so we used to peep 🤣🤣🤣since the wall was made of bamboo 🤣
The main reason for closure of all this cinema hall is because of our churches for those who go to cinema hall are sinners and it was a place where satan resides and thus people were frowned upon if they went to see and it was greatly discouraged. Dimapur was almost at par with guwahati but now see where they are now and where we are.
Yes It's not because of digital it's was banned by the church organisation like Liquor Act. They thought naga people will all go to heaven if these two is banned 😅.
I remember a pastor and his wife who against watching tv was a sin. So, when they visit their neighbours house, when they see TV, they would turned away from tv. After some years, they bought a tv. And pastor's wife would grab remote control and never gave chance to other. This this true story.
Who watch bollywood movie... Should be Hollywood and korean. Of course we get everything online now but totally depends on marketing, features and other entertainment need at the same place..
Ekta time te dimapur te etu cenima hall toh bisi famous thakiae aru moi bhi 1998 2000 2001 sal te etu hall te bisi ikina bhal bhal hindi movie khan saise deh.
The Passion of the Christ:Resurrection will be releasing next year in the month of April. I hope by that time there's a good cinema where people/family can watch it on the big screen.
