As a pekka main, I literally had to craft a deck specifically to counter recruits and sure enough, I played against them. I barely won. And that was with no evolution. I just hope they add evo minions soon

Evo minions should attack from a distance since they are already considered a ranged attack unit that dies from monk reflect

Funny how supercell wanted to encourage more offensive strategies of gameplay yet one of the most offensive push oriented decks is in an awful position.

It's due to the fact that it lucks defense, hog cycle is incredibly defensive and miner and log bait decks seem to balance between offence and defence.

@user-yw1nl6sk7y that's why splashyard is so good too. It used to be really defensive but a lot of people these days play it much more aggressively and rely on the defensive capabilities to get the elixir advantage back

This is literally my exact deck, except when logbait is popular sometimes switching Royal ghost for a scarmy really helps, but yeah either way won’t matter next season, Royale recruits will destroy this deck

I' been playing pekka for the last 6 years. Even now it still useful (8900k), but I definitely can't defeat almost any deck of this meta when my opponent is not much less skilled.

Personally I think cutting the matches is fine if you’ve clearly won and the rest of the game isn’t as entertaining. You can fit more games in less time and it makes the videos seem to be really actioned-packed.
