In Enoch i think It states that when Abraham left to sacrifice Isaac Satan went to sarah and told her Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac...Sarah began mourning really badly..then when Abraham returned with Isaac alive she was so happy that she died of excitement because of how much she loved Isaac.Thats how Sarah died...Very evil Devil indeed.(He knew the sudden excitement in old sarahs emotions would kill her) There is a lost book called why God allowed the Devil to Kill Sarah i havent got it ...but i guess it expands on the story.... BONUS: Also its debated that Ephon of the hittites who Abraham was negotiating to was a centaur(Half human half animal) and not actually human.That land was filled with human-animal hibrids at the time.and encounters were normal.Abraham was famous and was a legend among the people hence a Prince.

What you're describing is a common cultural interaction in the middle east, practiced to this day. In places of persian influence it could be called "taarof" (تعارف). Idk what it's called in more arabic places, but it is common for a merchant to "offer" you something for free and for you to insist on paying it, with some haggling mixed in. Think of it as a 'kindness' game of sorts where the goal is to be nicer than the person you're up against.

Sort of like paying it forward?
@jrodriguez1374
@jrodriguez1374 Год назад
@@blclemons9598 hmm, not exactly. It's more like a competition for who can be the 'nicest' person, where everyone's trying to one-up each other. So yes, paying it forward might be a part of taarof, but it's not an exact match, if that makes sense. Another example i can think of is when people hold the door for each other. With taarof they'll stand there for a minute or two going, "you go first" "no, you go first" "no, you go first" ad nauseum Does that make sense?

I totally agree with you, Tony. However, I take it a step further. I don't think see his remarks as mere cynicism, but his take on Abraham's relationship with Sarah (and the Hittites) oozes with ignorance and a sense of superiority & contempt for Abraham, Sarah, and the Hitittes that can not be ignored. He clearly harbors a great deal of unjustified hate in his heart. Above, I have posted biblical support to counteract his lies about Abraham and Sarah's relationship.

@@agniswar3 you treated the foreigner/visitor to your land and home as if they were royalty. The idea is that a lot back in the BCE times royalty prophets influential people etc traveled humbly throughout the landscape without any emblem showing their social/religious status. If you treated them with high levels of dignity respect and accommodation, for it's own sake, there were chances it could reverberate back to you. It's why in the story of Sadom and Gomorrah, the Jewish dude Lot gets a visitor to his home and not only welcomes them in and gives them a top notch welcoming but even offers up his virgin daughters for whatever needs may arrise with his guest. When the guest turns out to be an archangel, they tell them to pack their shit and leave (and they do) bc they saw how good and accommodating and righteous Lot was to them when they masked themselves as a foreigner.

Bit modern and not exactly mythology. The term "gremlin" denoting a mischievous creature that sabotages aircraft originates in Royal Air Force (RAF) slang in the 1920s among the British pilots stationed in Malta, the Middle East, and India, with the earliest recorded printed use being in a poem published in the journal Aeroplane in Malta on 10 April 1929. He'd have to do Elves or Goblins or the various regional variants that occur then tie it in with the modern name and version. Their basically a fairly modern take on a small mischievous and naughty creature that enjoys messing with people's stuff and making it either work wrong or not at all.

@ridethelapras

I tend to believe that whether Ephron was ripping Abraham off or not, Abraham was insistent that he paid the full price for it, whatever it was, to ensure it would "remain in the family", at least until such a time, as God had promised, that his seed should return into the land. (Also---400 shekels of silver corresponds to the 400 years the children of Israel were in Egypt for before returning to Canaan). If Ephron had just "lent" the tomb to Abraham, then there's no telling whether 100 years, 200 years later, the whole place wouldn't have been cleared and used by someone else for something else. But by making a legitimate purchase of the field (with "current money"), and by ensuring it was witnessed by all the children of Heth (meaning even 400 years later they could look at the Hittite records and note that the legal owner of the field was one Abraham), meant that for the whole time the nation of Israel was in Egypt, there was still a small patch of land in Canaan they could legitimately lay claim to, and could consider their own.

I know how she looks as I recall from a dream, I'm standing alone and a women walks past me as I gave her a glance she returns a warm friendly smile she then slowly walks up to me and tells me her name is Sarah!! Its a women I hadn't recognized before, she was georgous in her prime with well defined facial features. I can still remember the shape of her face and also the shape of her eyes the way how her lips parted when she smiles at you. She wore a brownish tan scarf covering her head and neck leaving her face exposed. I can't remember the details of her shirt or the pants she wore but indeed she appeared to be an amazing woman. She had captivating personality without having a word spoken.

The tone of her skin color is a deep tan, not dark enough to the point where you couldn't read her complexion. She had broad jaw line just not so much, it perfectly narrows down to her chin, perfectly spaced. The nose, almond shaped eyes and lips are all proportionately spaced and a beautiful smile on top of that.

T.S. 2:20 - 2:21 "To him [Abraham], these people were sinners. The Hittites were "sinners"? The TEXT does not say that. What do you know about actually know about the Hittites? The Hittites were respected by Abraham and they respected him as indicated in the text. They were a powerful nation and allied for a long time with Egypt, who ruled over Canaan in those days. They didn't allow foreigners buy land in their territories. Ephron, the Hittite, was not a corrupt, immoral American (predominantly Christian) as you have portrayed him. The humans that lived in Abraham's time were VERY different than our modern humans, as were their social interactions, including the sale or gifting of property. Ephron respected Abraham (thus calling him "lord" and "prince") and offered to give him the land as a gift. NO WHERE IN THE TEXT DOES IT INDICATE THAT EPHRON WAS TRYING TO TRICK [DEFRAUD] Abraham NOR THAT THE LAND WAS NOT WORTH 400 SHEKELS (thus manipulating Abraham into paying more for it), any more than calling referring to someone as "lord" or 'prince" was an act of sarcasm as you have claimed. That is pure speculation coming from a hateful heart. The he historical evidence does not support your claims either. Abraham was a man of deep convictions. He could not accept taking Ephron's property without fair compensation. He was not asking for a gift and he wanted to owe no man anything. In fact, when he rescued Lot from the defeated kings of Sodom and Gomorrah, he took a very similar stance as is clearly spelled out in Genesis 14:23 by refusing to take the spoils of his conquest. There Abraham says: "I will not take any thing that is yours, lest you should say, I have made Abram rich." Everything that you have said in this regard is nothing more than putting your Christian hate spin on a Hebrew Text you know very little about.

Regarding the seller & buyer. Some people attached their life's & values so much to the monetary system they literally get confused & shocked if someone is offering them something for free. Some of them are so greedy that they offer you at least something to deminish the potentiality of the idea in their minds that you could ask them for some favour in return later, regardles of the outcome of their own imorality which is insulting you with corrupt worthless price for the item. Some of them just completely don't understand why would you offer it for free & others grab the offer in eyeblink thinking you are the biggest fool. People today just cannot accept anything without some sorte of presumption or later judgment.

"or not just really being very nice to each other...." (T.S. 0:11 - 0:14) Like your claim that they fought wars and had affairs, your assessment that Sarah and Abraham were "not very nice to each other" is totally unsupported by the scripture. There is no place in the scripture that says Abraham and Sarah fought or that they were in any way "not nice to each other". In fact, when Sarah became jealous of Hagar and wanted Hagar sent away, Abraham, despite his love for his first born son and the slave that bore him .... he did as Sarah wished and sent Hagar and Ishmael away. [Genesis 21:9-14] Why would you even suggest, especially without any evidence, that Sarah and Abraham were "not very nice to each other"?

They didn't get what they wanted in the end. Abraham was humiliated and mentally tortured as so was Sarah for decades. Imagine daily Sarah and Abraham watching their workers/subjects conceive, for decades. Waiting on a promise for decades, suffering every day. Bu divine negligence Abraham is forced to sin, Sarah having given up encourages her husband to sleep with his maid (imagine what that takes) Hagar conceives and bears a child and still Sarah is barren. In short, what happened to them both was evil. How long was Sarah a mother for. Parenthood shouldn't be for a minute. Faith is meaningless in light of the pain they endured. * your videos are great, my pain here has nothing to do with Your content, btw

Everyone gets what they want. Not always in the same way we want. God always give us that we need, not we want. Plus, God wanted to test Abraham and Sarah. He wanted to see how much faith they have in. Abraham initially made some mistakes. Because his trust in God wasn't that much. But he finally started to understand the way of God. He started to truly trust God. And both of them get what they want. Not by the way they wanted. Maybe it was late but not too late. Brother, the path of faith, the path of good and the path of God is full of thorns. It maybe painful at first But at the end we are rewarded with eternal bliss and happiness. No matter how many difficulties you see one should not leave the path of Good and join the evil. Faith isn't meaningless brother. Trust God and look what arrives for you.

Tell that story to someone and replace God with a human name, and see what your listener says about the person. That being said, there's when something is enough, a test is good but there's too much it makes no sense. The scripture says "whatever you ask my father in my name" this statement is NOT ambiguous. God also says he knows what you will ask before you ask. Ask and expect is faith. 10 years of waiting ok, 50 years, the Patriach and man of faith himself Abraham gave up eventually and touched Hagar, Sarah asked him to, for she too had given up. They both broke, then the laughed in disbelief which is human when the 3 Angel's reminded them of the promise. If I ask for water, and I get foot wear, prayer is NOT answered. Period. Did "god" protect your alleged Lord and Savior from being tortured and executed when he pointed out their own sins, and called out the hypocrisy of the Scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees (The priesthood and the religious elite?) and their phony righteousness? In Abraham's case, he wasn't speaking truth to power, he was simply respecting the social constructs of the Hittites who didn't sell their land to foreigners.

Going forward, please refrain from adding to the texts your biased ideas and speculations. In addition such false suppositions and claims, your Christian Bible (Revelation 22:18-19) tells you not to take anything from or add to the texts you call the "word" of your alleged "god".

T.S. 1:37 - 1:48 "Yet another idea [mental masturbation] is that Abraham recognized his true residence as "heaven" (singular, intended to be defined as the name of a place Christians go to when their bodies die to live for eternity) and that was his way of making the distinction between himself and his wife amongst the Hittites." That is a ridiculous hypothesis! The Hebrew Bible says that when a man dies he knows nothing, not even the Elohiym (a plural impersonal noun which your English translation has rendered as "God, god, gods, goddess, angels, judge, great, mighty, exceeding, godward, and godly"). Abraham was promised prosperity on EARTH for himself and his generations/offspring. Abraham's god promised him that if Abraham put his personal god, YHWH Elohiym, over all the other gods, YHWH Elohiym would make his seed as numerous as the sands of the sea, they would inherit the land of Canaan, AND they will be a blessing to all the other nations on the earth. Abraham was not promised (nor did he believe) that when he died he will go to the unbiblical Christian paradise called "Heaven" to live eternally. There is no such concept in the Hebrew Bible (nor the Greek texts for that matter) and there was no such concept in any of the religions of Abraham's time in Ancient Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilization. The Hebrew plural noun that has been translated into English as "heaven" (singular) is שָׁמַיִם [transliterated shamiym] and means the visible the skies: the clouds, the sun, the moon, the planets and the stars. NO ONE in those days believed that when they died, they would be transmuted somewhere out in the solar system to some "paradise" called "heaven" [singular] to live out the Christian version of life after death, including Abraham, his ancestors, and his descendants. That is not a concept that comes from the Hebrew Bible [That collection of Jewish scripture the Christians falsely claim is theirs] or its source, the religious texts of Sumer and Akkad, the religion and culture under which Abraham was born and raised. According to the Hebrew Bible, the dead know nothing, not even "god". Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 is just one of the verses in the Hebrew Bible that clearly spell that out. Even the Greek texts, your Christian Bible (You call it the New Testament), says that the Christian "god" is the god of the living, not the dead [Mark 12:27]. And in case you had not noticed, Christians (gentiles) don't respect, obey, or worship Abraham's god at all. Their religion is the "new" religion, and for what it is worth, they don't respect, obey, and worship their gods either. Just look at the last seventeen hundred years of human history and you will see: Christians have been not a blessing, but a CURSE, upon the earth and it's inhabitants.

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven? If no, here is what the bible says, (1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Q1. Do you know what Sin is? Sin is anything bad that we have done. Q2. Have you sinned before? Yes or No? (2) Revelation 21:8 KJV [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Because they have sinned, and God does not allow Sin into Heaven, the punishment is burning hell. What is the way to reconcile our peace and relationship with God? Q3. Do you know the Story of Jesus? (3) Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus = God who lived up in Heaven, but he came down on earth and became a man like us, he lived for 33.5 years without committing any sin. Then there were certain people who were jealous and therefore framed him on phony charges, and crucified him. Then he was buried and resurrected on the third day; Now he lives in HEAVEN. Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us? A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus. (4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this. (5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner. (7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer : ‘Dear GOD, I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen! ‘Congratulations ! Now you are a child of God.
