I can boldly say, as a black man, I absolutely love supporting black businesses. I love my people and I love seeing us win. But I won't support mediocrity just because it's my people. It's BECAUSE I love my black brothas and sistahs that I won't support it because lying to inflate their ego doesn't actually help us succeed. Them being black will get my attention, just like seeing Filipino stuff will perk my ears (as I'm Afro-Filipino), but I won't just give them my money because it's them. I'd rather give honest critique, tell them how they can improve, and support black and Filipino businesses that are actually good. Nothing wrong with wanting to support your people at all, but only support it if you genuinely see value in it. I write comics, for example, and I want everyone to buy them. But if it's legitimately bad, DO NOT support my stuff even if you are black. Instead, tell me how I can make a better product so I can be the best I can be. THAT is the most important for anyone and any community to thrive. Authenticity and honesty.

@@kh7688 I think what he means is that Hollyweird has a slate of films already being in filming with the same problems still written in. It could take years for them to exhaust their woke crammed movies. That is unless all films cease production and get new writers mid way. Kinda like when somebody takes a crap in the stall and you gotta wait for the smell to go away.

You know whos problem that is? Not the customer. The studio. They can shelve it. They can edit. They can reshoot. If Disney can order CGI work done down to a week before release. I dont see the issue or why we should wait years. It can be done and if they want profit. They have too.

Except because people really did not care for music videos anymore after the rise youtube and eventually spotify, so they diversified and actually became successful for a time. P.S. I heard in a documentary about superheros and comic book writers that, the vilians and themes would change to reflect the issues of the time. Like originally, you had mysticism and mad scientists as vilians to reflect people who thought to demonize other faiths other than Christianity and people who thought innovators and scientists were looking to take over the world. Then you have things like world governments being the enemy because of World War II and Cold War Russia. Next came crupt corporations, taking power from average folk, portrayed as more powerful or even influencing government decisions. At some point, superheroes become the villians to themselves and others, being seen as too powerful. But what's the common theme today? Muliverses. Different versions of the same characters, worlds, laws, etc. In short, REALITY ITSELF seems to have become the real villain that everybody fights, no one trusts, and not even knowing what side you're on (if there even is one) you NEED to fight for.

That "sourcematerial" thing reminded me of an idiotic statement that K.K said back in 2014 after Lucasfilm announced that Legends stuff like KOTOR and THE FORCE UNLEASHED being non-canon: (which is total bs🤬) "There is no source material" So like what, you claim to have no source material at all, but then Dave Filoni just comes and brings Thrawn from Zahn's books back, Revan being namedropped in Episode Nine's Artbook (among many other stuff). So calling all bs to those at Marvel or anywhere really, that are forbiding writers for reading source material first before writing new stuff for movies/TV-shows. (Reflect on that!!)

Most of those movies both old and new was created to keep a certain mentality or mental programming in the black community. Exactly! I'm a Latino who lives in El Paso, Texas (Hometown of blue beetle...) I will prob. never see that movie, I have no interest. But since he is Latino, they tried so hard to sell it, it gets annoying. But I can't wait for Deadpool to come out (White man), and super excited for the new BLADE movie they're working on (Black man) and man I've even been loving the Netflix series of Samurai with Blue eyes, the main character.. she's a baddy, sometimes they go over board but I still like it.

Luis I saw that movie and regreted almost immediately. So formulaic and full of crazy latino stereotypes and the scritp is all over the place..
