The laws of purity (the 6th section of the 6 sections of mishna, the section of taharot) applies solely when the temple stands, during the 1st, 2nd, and (hopefully very soon) 3rd temple. People who enter the temple with ritual impurity is a tremendous sin. Nowadays since there is no temple we are not careful with those laws, we study them, and in the days of the 3rd temple we will again implement them, but now we dont need to be stringent with regards to them bc no one is in danger of entering the temple ritually impure since its not standing. It is usually for health reasons & there is a deeper wisdom regarding marriage & what benefits a couple in the long term. Just like there is deeper meaning & purpose for instance not mixing wool & linen together . Some laws are for a governing nation with appointed judges & religious courts - not just civil ones -some laws are for the temple - some laws are for the Levitical priesthood , some are personal & about relationships, etc . The new covenant mentioned in Jeremiah refers to the covenant of the same laws (613 out of which 10 are core) with the House of Judah (semi-religious Jews) and the House of Israel (Modern and Ultra Orthodox). The only difference is that unlike the old covenant, where Jews taught the laws to each other which is not perfect, G-d will teach the laws directly to each Jew. Any person of any other nation would need to convert into the laws of 613 in order to be considered one who will be taught directly by G-d. For everyone else, they will be taught only the laws which are applicable to all people: belief in a single source of all truth, prohibition against blasphemy (negative speech towards holy angels as well who convey the truth at the command of G-d), prohibition against violence, theft, sexual immorality, cruelty and mistreatment of animals including hunting, and the positive commandment to establish the courts of justice, police and military in order to enforce the laws mentioned above.

Sadly the expectation of a literal translation is short sighted if context isn't taken into account. If you look at verses in isolation how can you get to the unadulterated truth. Rabbi Mizarachi maybe a teacher but his bias and a mental block does allow him to entertain the answer however his defensive claims is the questions weren't answered just because he doesn't like the answer
This pastor always contradicts himself, he starting off his speech 1:30 “ we should be concerned with the truth, and not by how we feel” and later starts telling how he discovered became “Christian” after the accident.. these people are lost, unfortunately, many of them will stay ignorant for the rest of their lives, and never find true light of God

Rabbi Yosef should have responded to the ministers assertion that after Ahaz was offered a sign, and rejected it, that Isaiah said I'll give it to the house of David, distinguished from Ahaz in 7:13, is incorrect and contradicted by 7:2. 7:2 makes clear that the the house of David would be informed that aram has allied himself with Ephraim. The house of David being Ahaz. 2And it was told to the House of David, saying, "Aram has allied itself with Ephraim," and his heart and the heart of his people trembled as the trees of the forest tremble because of the wind. 3And the Lord said to Isaiah, "Now go out toward Ahaz, you and Shear-Yashuv your son, to the edge of the conduit of the upper pool, to the road of the washer's field. 4And you shall say to him, "Feel secure and calm yourself, do not fear, and let your heart not be faint because of these two smoking stubs of firebrands, because of the raging anger of Rezin and Aram and the son of Remaliah. What would be the point of telling a future generation of the house of David of an already revealed birth as a sign that Ahaz would win the war. It makes no sense. From a Christian perspective, this was more of a lecture than a debate. The Christian could have done a better job. I'm not trying to convert anyone, but each contradiction can be explained. The 25 descendants are from Miriam's side. Text of Acts correctly lists Jacob's burial site. Several online sources explain the reasoning behind 70 being listed as accompanying Jacob to Egypt. All contradictions can be explained. But, again, not trying to convert you.
