Farke has benefitted so much from Ampadu, Gruev and James's injuries. There's no way he'd have brought in Ramazani, Tanaka, and Rothwell for enough minutes to get them fit otherwise. Will benefit us in the long run when the others come back as they've had the opportunity to prove themselves now.
Watched the Sheff Utd game in of all places Almeria in Spain, locals were saying Ramazani is going to be a top player, and don’t get me on Joseph the bar was bouncing when he scored, even the Madrid fans loved it 💛💛💛
Regarding the 442... watch almost any game that we play, when we are siting in a midblock our 10 always steps up to create the 442. That was nothing specifically done for mateo and piroe. When we were in possession we had our standard shape.
Playing our 2 DM's every match has hampered us attacking wise and the reason they were both injured. We only need to play one DM. As much as we want Ampadu and Gruev to start, only one can start and the other is the back up. Simple Mr Farke. MOT
Piroe has been so much better this year, really unexpected. I think playing a 4-4-2 or piroe as a shadow 10 striker behind Joseph and dropping aaaronson should be the shape going forward, but it’s honestly a good problem to have
