I bet Frank Welker, Chris Latta, and John Stephenson were probably drunk af that day and the producers decided to just record audio of the 3 being hungover with their G1 voices and animate it.

One of the few rare moments where we witness them as Cybertronians, not Decepticons. I wish we could see more of these.

For everyone who doesn't comprehend how Soundwave can drink; Just because a Cybertronian has a mouth plate doesn't mean he/she isn't able to eat/drink/refuel. If that were the case they could die of starvation. Within the mouth plate are little sliding mechanics. Which open and close to intake energon and other nutrients that are necessary. Honestly, am I the only only that knew this? :/ (Plus, technically, I don't know if Cybertronains can truly become intoxicated. Energon isn't alcoholic and doesn't have the same effects of a drink that does. Not to mention their bodies don't have the same effects as a feeble human's.)

This is literally by far the funniest scene in any Transformers Cartoon history ever. As funny as drunk decepticons are this is actually one of the few scenes to give them some depth

I was about 13 years old when I saw this episode for the first time, and when I got to this scene, I laughed my ass off, because without seeing any internet jokes, all I could think was "the decepticons are drunk!" How this was allowed on a kids show in 1985, I have no idea, but it's great!

For some reason, I see the Autobots (especially Optimus Prime) as mean, violent drunks. When they get wrecked on Energon, they wild out and run over people in the streets. Then the next morning (after sobering up), they blame their murderous rampage on the Stunticons.

This is like when you are playing Skyrim and you randomly encounter those three drunken men drinking Honeydew mead.
