I like it, film has scary moments, ritual stuff, possession, hidden places, tension and drama...and water.. I'm scared of depths and drowning..😱 It's a classical horror with "amature" camera effect and abandoned place..To me film has done his purpose, I got scared and on my toes.. I love horrors, I'm not easy to scare 😂

I generally don't watch horrors as they all feel the same but something about this being filmed completely underwater made me feel really uneasy and first time in a long time a "horror" has actually horrified me. Screams underwater for me just hit differently.

I really enjoyed this movie, well made and reasonably well acted. Very different. Better than the 5-6 ratings I am seeing. My only issue with the movie was they did not make enough of the 'seal' under the chains - if you have seen it you know what I mean. A second movie exploring the 'devil' part of this family would be appreciated

The concept of this movie is very interesting. But as the movie goes on, it’s kinda getting lose control. Like, some scenes are not clear what is really happening. I get that it’s because they’re panic but the camera movements are annoying to watch. Still, it’s a decent movie. I don’t like the ending but the ending makes sense.

I agree, it starts off fairly well. But especially in scenes where there's fighting with the demons / ghost / spirits it's just shaking camera. And the end? The end just sucked. For a second I thought they were going to go with the fact that she was trying to pause her ascent to prevent the bends but it seems like she just dies. Therefore the main antagonist of the whole movie gets away with sending them to their deaths.

Must’ve been a nightmare to film, but the result is impressive: small and specific, like A24 horror. Just don’t watch it on anything smaller than a wall-it’s shot in the dark, with bubbles and distortion.

the only redeeming quality about this movie was that it was filmed underwater which in itself is quite impressive. the plot however was unoriginal. the acting was sub par at best. i can only hear that girl say "omg ben where are you!" so many times.

It's literally the worst attempt on making paranormal activity under water... Swear between the boyfriend constantly using their youtube channel in the making as an excuse to stay a few more seconds places they shouldn't, and the underwater drone not working, there was a few noticeable moments. But nothing really made sense in the movie. I give it 1/10. Waist of time

Definitely worth a watch for the scenery, but the plot was dry (haha) and so was the ending. It leaves you with some questions that can't be answered because it seems like they weren't thought out in the first place. My knowledge on symbols and sigils may be rusty, but I'm pretty sure they completely misused them. The plot was explained very vaguely & it just felt like the story was rushed & majority of their focus was on scenery. 10/10 fascinating visuals, 3/10 acting, and 1/10 plot.

Your standard haunted house story but underwater, main selling point here is the eerie scenery. Not a spoiler just a observation; this couple is training their breathing because it may safes their life, then smoking cigarettes...that bs threw me off, why was that in there, made no sense.

Interesting premise and was pretty good overall. One caveat: Do not watch it on any streaming service. Being such an aesthetically dark movie, the absolutely atrocious bitrate on ALL streaming services (no matter the "Quality" option chosen) absolutely destroys it. Colour banding everywhere. I wish streaming services would actually provide decent quality streaming at 1080p+ but, here we are :( EDIT: AAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDD I just learnt that the actor that played Ben is Mick Jagger's son!

Whoever wrote this movie thinks ROVs work the same as aerial drones. They don't. I know, because I operate two of them. They require a cable tether to maintain contact with an operator, WIFI/Bluetooth absolutely does not work underwater as shown in this movie. And any motion detection would be impossible, and certainly not capable of distinguishing different divers from other moving objects. If they'd done their research and figured out how ROVs work this movie would have been great, it's just a shame they didn't do any of their homework.

@@davidleegoth so far 42 minutes in and I haven't seen anything not mentioning its underwater in a house that not even fish go near ,that a stranger told them about,just 2 people going exploring for views for their RU-vid channel ..stay posted..only 36 minutes left, so the stranger...well if you want me to tell you the whole movie I can but to me it's a 3 out of 10 ,took basically 50 minutes for things to pick up and the ending is trash..watch it if you want just hope you watch it for free

This is interesting... when you read the comments from over a year ago, they're all "OMG this movie was soooo original and fantastic. I was SO scared..." And when you read the latest, and probably real comments, they're all "OMG this movie sucked, I was SO bored!" - Spoiler alert - My opinion: It had some potential, but the story was unoriginal and boring. When you take away the water, it was just one of the many totally unnecessary haunted house movies that most people never want to see again.. It had nothing unique, it wasn't very scary, the story behind the house was barely explained and the last 15 minutes felt like they literally only had 15 minutes of film left. The ending was stupid. Also: ghosts who stab people with real knives are probably laughed at in the spirit world. 3/10
