Try a short line,we always bag up with bream on there at around 15/20 metres out.Cos of its depth the bream like to swim round the margins

Ullswater is the best lake for fishing... If you feel really deep you can catch some extremely rare fish which ONLY live in Ullswater and a tran on top of the mountain nearby (which is also deep). They are called Vendace (in Ullswater known as Schelly or Skelly) In fact it is only found in four lakes worldwide, Red Tarn, Haweswater, Brotherswater and Ullswater, and is classified as endangered.

It needs to be 60 mtrs deep mate, it has a lot of raw sewage to hold.

so the vanlife has its claws into you proper hahaha you might still get to Africa yet!!
