Funny because it is one of the few designs that doesn't appeal to me. I get the functionality of the readability of the four numerals on the dial but stylistically it doesn't do it for me.
I still have a Cadisen (C1032) from those Jody finds back in the day - ah I remember those days well. I also have a Longines Conquest homage from them. This looks similar but the bezel on the Longines homage is black and the numerals on the dial are of course different.
Same here, the C1032 looked so great I couldn't resist it. I first ordered the silver dial version which since has been my favourite watch to change straps on (the term "strap monster" fits really well here). On some later great AE sale I also got the black dial version, but that one still has it's bracelet. I also got that Conquest homage at some good price at an AE sale, it kinda have the same vibe as this explorer and I wish this Cadisen would be offered with the same dark grey sunburst dial as that model.
Hi George ! Thank you for your video. It's a OP 11600 homage (production before 2020) not a Submariner homage. That's why the Mercedes hand are missing. I've got mine with the golden dial for 60 $ few weeks ago, it was truely a great bargain !

HI Ash, thanks for the comment and support. Like I keep saying in the video, I think the positives outweigh the negatives massively especially under 100 dollars. For 15 dollars you can buy a jubilee from Cadisen probably or another store. But I can live with those.
Great video as usual. I really like that they didn't went for Mercedes hands, and put their logo at 12 o'clock still with the triangular shape. The Cadisen inscription on the rehaut isn't a hit for me, but I also think this watch could be a nice modding project with maybe some "sportier" hands and a clean rehaut (would be interesting to see how a dial matching black rehaut would look like? Maybe terrrible lol). Maybe also considering brushing that bezel as well. I'm on the fence wether or not I like that wide bezel. The price is as usual on Cadisens really good.
I bought the SanMartin over this because of the lack of lume on it. If they had charged 30 more and put great lume I'd have bought it. The hands are a plus on this as I'm not a Mercedes hand fan.
How big is your wrist? I've been on the fence about picking one up (they are deeply on sale right now, like $30) but I have a 7.25 in wrist so worried it might wear small with the large bezel
