I think he becomes much better at 2 stars and is also dependent on having a high artifact level, but at base level he’s better than lemon zest. This guy calling him the worst dps is crazy.
@@rileydean9228 sorry dude but base lemon zest does way more dps than durian simply because of the continuous damage that lemon zest dishes out 😭 durian is infact the worst dps atm and it sucks cuz his concept is really cool. durians damage output is so wonky and not consistent. i can see him being really good if hes hypermaxed but who is even gonna do that, ppl see him being not worth the materials

there are multiple points to be made, and I'm still really impressed nobody, absolutely nobody, took time and effort to go, read the entire cookies descriptions and do a more reliable tierlist. I mean, Rye is definitely a B tier, just a tad less wonky than Durian (Devsis did him dirty grr), unless she's maxed out, then she's a somewhat reliable carry and not extreme slow, but since her most focus is dealing single-target damage and one of her skills render her vulnerable on top of that, it makes her very poor for anything other than raiding and single foe fights. (or I have skill issue, but I'm sure I'm not the single one suffering from this) Twisted Donut is a single-target unit at most, and he isn't that useful if you don't have all of his five stars. Earth units are all in such a poor state wtf Devsis ;-; Angel Cookie, Muscle Cookie, Werewolf Cookie, ninja cookie and Pistachio Cookie suffer from the status distribution problem. They have fine kits, but they will never have enough utility to be even half of their role models, just because they're common/rare cookies, so ThEy nEeD tO hAvE lEsS sTaTs (plus angel cookie is supposed to be an all-rounder support, by healing, buffing and doing a bit of damage all at the same time, I find her pretty fine and was contemplating building her up. She's the only other cookie that brings buffs to the table after all) Ginger Brave is the best cookie for speedrunning, he's S tier over there at least! Other than that, he suffers from the Earth cookie curse. Alchemist Cookie would be the best tagger in the game if she had elemental debuff, since even when compared to Wizard and Plantain, she is able to do some reliable damage with her venom. If paired with Werewolf, they make a reliable team that surpassed my Rye Plantain duo. (my skill issue probably) Alchemist Cookie like that can also be used on teams that does not conform to her element (if the stage is tagged "all elements"), and any cookie can help with her tag stacking, different from other taggers that might need the DPS to be the same element because their debuff only works for _their own element._ She's pretty flexible! In fact, in the game, you should at least have two cookies of each element leveled up (tagger and dps) and at least two support/shield cookies, so you can clear the entire content of the game without suffering. It is rough. rant rant rant mumble mumble I'm too invested in this gaaaameeeee~
This is a well summed up point lol.... Once again this tier list was solely made off of community votes, I added some opinions from myself when explaining why I thought certain cookies were in certain places but overall I tried to stay out of decisions lol.
I would have to disagree on your point with rye. The reason being she is simply a high skill character and her value comes from staying at range and large consistent single target damage. The downside is that she does not have good AOE and is very difficult to have consistent damage with the reloads, but this is why she is a high skill character. You have to rotate her reload with her abilities and your tagger if you do this you never have to sit through the reload animation without doing damage. The other thing I disagree about is the rare cookies being bad because of low stats simply because you can have ridiculous stats on a cookie if you build their artifacts bonuses right (now yes I know it it's RNG so it's not reliable but the point still stands) like for example if you have pistachio cookie you simply roll for epic HP multipliers thus fixing the stat problem.
@@user-ex5bp4bc1g that is totally understandable but at that point the reason certain characters are ranked lower become more about difficulty to play or amount of investment you need to make them good. I can understand how some cookies can be good if your more skilled or get lucky/invest more, but for the average player, they want to know what cookies are the easiest to build/play so they can complete content quickly. Do I think some cookies deserve more love, yes, but do I think the average player really cares if a certain niche build/or playstyle makes a cookie move up a tier or down one, probably not lol…. Why would they want to practice heavily to force rye into the “meta” if they could just pump and dump into DC and one tap content lol. I could go on and on but this is kinda why I just used a community census bc I have been rlly surprised thus far with how far people can go with cookies making even the most meta cookie look useless haha!
I built Angel Cookie to play in raid level four in CBT cause there barely people use healer and they keep dying but I don’t have Rockstar. Angel Cookie can even be in B or C tier from my experience.
the twisted donut placement saddened me, but the reasoning behind his placement makes sense. I find him really useful tho when his element is in the weakness side as he seems to help a crazy good amount when filling the elemental burst gauge. I will say, it could be just me but thats what I say.
I think twisted donut isn’t actually too bad, the main problem is, earth is just rlly weak right now. Once earth gets some love I truly think others will see their value and it could definitely be a B or A tier!
@@MagicMula I understand that, thus why I said his placement makes sense. I do hope earth can get out from its spot right now, but considering that earth is leaving out the raid rotation next raid, I doubt it will happen any time soon, which is sad. I do like using the twisted donut and find him underated.
I feel the tiers made it bad. you probably shouldhave made a point system and averaged them to make not just 1 tier mega crowded. also the gingerbrave hate. clearly doesnt know :(
That’s a good point, tbh the reason I kept it a tier list even if a tier was crowded was to show players that there are a lot of good options to build. If S tier was crowded then I would understand but for what I was trying to do, I’m fine with A tier being overcrowded and the others not so much. Also I’m sorry about gingerbrave firstly C tier was voted by the community and my F tier comment, well I just don’t find gingerbrave worth investing in more than others 😂
Personally speaking, move Alchemist up 1 (she's simply in far too many raids to be that low) and I'd move Cream Soda down 1 with Dark Choco teetering on A. Cream Soda is super straight forward but her attacks lock her in place and she has to be in a enemies face to do anything- 99% of the raids I'm in if there's a Cream Soda (please stop) she's going to die because she just has to smear her face against the boss while not doing enough damage to really contribute. She's a good no brain starter but falters pretty hard in more difficult content. Dark Choco is really good for some raids yeah, but in normal adventure content and anything that requires moving he's hotdog water due to his insanely slow attack speed and movement speed. I can't *not* get constantly smacked around whenever I try to make him work for anything else. Alchemist isn't super impressive on the surface, but her poison and debuffing make her a incredibly effective tagger for raids and story mode. Naturally melting RES (and further with her artifact) and dealing constant tic damage makes her reliable in just about any situation. She's not some incredible solo unit but she's real good other small things but I'd bump Plantain down as he does no damage to anything, worse than alchemist, Cherry got power crept by Mala so I'd knock her down to 'good' but not that high anymore, and leave Rockstar/Crushed pepper as S tiers as no matter the situation their buffs and supports can always find a use.
Currently we dont have a good earth type cookie that i wanna build and along with that wind also ( except rye seems to be decent) and i have all s tier cookies luckily
The reason dark choco is so good, is because of his def penetration, overall dps output and his dmg scaling the more stars you get for him. Pretty much he has the highest dmg off single hits in the whole game which makes him a beast to quickly do raids!
